A sweet stylish boutique hotel.

Such a cute hotel. I love the layout of the main room (I had a king room) it felt spacious and stylish and the view was lovely. The bathroom is a bit small and oddly laid out w/the tub kinda small and extremely close to the toilet. I’d love to see some longer shower curtains so the floor doesn’t get so wet. The bed was like heaven, great design and style. The balcony is just big enough to stand out on and get some fresh air. Loved that there was a kitchenette and the robes and slippers were a nice touch. Walls are a little thin but I was across from the elevator so that might have been the reason. I believe the deposit of $350 is a bit high but it’s a small 14-16 room boutique hotel so it’s to protect against damages. The day staff were lovely. The evening guy seemed a little distracted but nice. A few more outlets at reachable levels would be good. I used to run a 345 room hotel in NYC so my review is very specific. Even considering the improvements I mentioned, I would easily come back to this sweet hotel and actually wish I’d had more time to enjoy the Lounge space which was decorated in art. Why? Most of the hotels in LIC are cookie cutter but this family owned space is a breath of fresh air and I’ll recommend it to anyone who asks me where to stay not just in Queens but in NYC as well. 🌺

Will definitely be back!! ONLY complaint I have is the amount for the incidental fee. $350 is a bit absurd, I have never been charged more than $150. But that is literally my only complaint. Place is clean, friendly staff, beautiful room! Excellent!

We had a great experience at the Mdoernist! It’s in the middle of a quiet neighborhood but the rooms were extremely clean and and spacious! We felt very safe and were kindly greeted upon arrival. We will definitely be coming back!! It’s a great affordable option

Easy access to the hotel and to surrounding needs. For me it was very convenient with its location close to airports and Manhattan and access to Long Island. The value does not compare. In Manhattan this room does not really exist. A balcony, more space than most NYC studio apartments, clean, modern, safe and quiet. Will be coming back often. Highly recommend. Yianni at the front Desk is the professional and gracious host that will ensure your stay is a 11/10. They did not disappoint with genuine hospitality, anticipation of needs and an eye for detail. Thank you for such an unexpected surprise that exceeded expectations!

I was very impressed with the quality of the room, and the space for the price. I had a beautiful view, and the kitchenette and bathroom were really nice too. Bed was comfortable, good pillows and blankets and it was all well designed. There was also a surprising art room on the bottom floor that was beautiful to be in, and a good conference center and work out space on the second floor. It looks like nothing from the outside, but inside, I kept being surprised at how well done it was. Not a lot of restaurants or shops nearby, but the train is pretty close. There's a great coffee shop called little flower pretty close by.

Clean room, comfortable beds. The heater started making loud noises in the middle of the night. It was difficult to sleep the first night. The next morning, I notified front desk, and they addressed the issue promptly. Overall a good stay.

Convenient location -- 5 min Uber drive or 15-min walk from Queens Plaza subway station. Area felt safe, especially during the day. The property overall is clean. I took a star off cleanliness because my room could have used a good vacuuming. No carpet in room (which is great) but the floor was somewhat dusty. The area that could have used deeper cleaning was the bathroom -- rust/mold stains on the shower curtain. On the second day, housekeeping replaced dirty towels. One of the towels was still damp and smelled mildewy. Front desk took note and replaced all towels. The building at night can be noisy. On the first night, either someone in the building or outside was blasting a sermon and then music. That went from 11pm for about an hour. I was too tired from my trip, that didn't have the energy to notify the front desk. Aside from those 2 situations, our stay overall was pleasant. Comfortable beds, crisp/clean linens, spacious and sunny room. Dark shades at night. I would stay here again. Plenty of restaurants Within 15-min walk. Easy access to Manhattan as well. Within 30-min I was in Chelsea Market.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations for a 3-star establishment in New York. The suite was spacious, clean and well appointed. The thing I appreciated the most was the quietness. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood with quiet streets, and there are only 2-3 rooms on each floor, which helped to minimize hallway noise. The staff are friendly and helpful. They even bring deliveries to your door. I would stay here again.
