A Recent Deterioration

We have been staying at this wonderful hotel for years but have recently seen a serious deterioration in room comfort and elevator service. The heating is irregular with useless thermostats. Rooms are too hot or too cold and it was not just our room. The elevator key cards are a struggle to work causing extensive delays. Some immediate attention is needed

Every staff member I met was so kind and helpful! They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was wonderful! From the doorman to the front desk! The hotel itself is in the perfect location, within walking distance to everything. I stayed here to see a show at radio city. It was only a few blocks away. The room itself felt a little outdated but I liked it because it was giving classy! Absolutely no issues with the room or this hotel. I felt completely safe and I didn’t have to wait forever for the elevator like some other hotelsin the area. All in all, I would stay here again.

There was mold in my shower unfortunately and the water pressure barely worked which sucked since it was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I brought it to the manager’s attention and all he said was I’ll have an engineer go look at the water pressure but didn’t address the mold. That’s a health hazard.

the rooms doesnt look like the pictures my card was charged twice for whatever reason i didnt order anything i had to leave a voicemail! which is horrible the hotel smells like toilet water. the stay was 3/10 only bc things were walking distance this hotel wants $70 per night to park & the parking garage wants $50!

I didn’t like the fact that the rooms do not have air conditioning available in rooms even when the outside temperature was in high 60’s. We were provided with a fan and advised to open the windows. The establishment only had 2 working elevators during our time here and since we were on the 49th floor every elevator that did reach us was already full with people.

The best thing about this hotel was the proximity to time square. Other than that, there were only 2 elevators that the card reader would take you to your room, our drain in the shower didn’t work and there was hair that was not ours floating around the tub water, the outlets were hanging out of the wall, the bathroom floor was filthy from the stay before , the pain was dirty and chipped all over the room, over l very dirty, the pillows were flat and old, there is NO A/C, which I will say is my fault for not reading the description clearly, the room got very hot at night and the windows open but there was no relief from that, we had to sleep with the front door cracked to create a slight breeze. Over all would not recommend this hotel and will not be back.

my review

My stay went well. There were just a few things i did not like one being that the hotel room did not have a mini fridge or complementary tooth paste in the restroom. Also the room was very warm and i put the fan on but that didn't seem to make a difference & lastly you need to use a key to go up in the elevator which got a little annoying at times especially when the elevator was crowded , other than that the service was great people were friendly and it was a good time. I will stay there again but I will just more prepared next time.
