Some of the front desk staff were pretty rude especially at checkout when we were exhausted and trying to ask questions about billing and not understanding completely. I’ve got 2 big charges over 1200 pending on my credit card and hopefully 1 is removed and the $300 hold is removed from the other like they’ve said it should. Still unsettling to see that on your list of charges. Housekeeping was very kind.
Our first time in the room we noticed dirty sheets with yellow staining and hair/hairballs so we requested fresh sheets and those came quickly to be replaced. It was pretty noisy - loud people in the hallways and a lot of other guest room doors slamming but by midnight it wasn’t too much noise. We got no complimentary waters even when we asked so we had to purchase them - a little over $6 per water bottle at the hotel. I’ve stayed in Manhattan several times over the years and this was my worst experience so far. Not a fan of the Times Square area or this hotel and the experience between this hotel and other stays was like night and day. I will not return here.
