Wonderful service. So nice to stay somewhere where you are treated as a welcome guest , and not an inconvenience which can be the case in many local hotels. Excellent room and complimentary bathroom and coffee/tea supplies.

Say 'Bye, Felicia' to ordinary life and a big fat hello to Launceston. If you're itching to get away, lastminute.com.au can help you snag an outrageously good-looking deal on a hotel room (Felicias not included). There's no need to stay anywhere else but in the thick of the action. There are 43 hotels within 2 kilometres of the CBD just waiting for you to snap up.
Keen to have a few wild ones on the town? It doesn't get much more central than the Quest Launceston Serviced Apartments and the Apartments at York Mansions! If they don't tickle you pink, the Peppers Seaport Hotel and the Elphin Motel & Serviced Apartments might be a better fit.
Have a hit at Tassie Tiger Mini Golf to see if you can get a hole in one! It's all about location! Book a room at the Clarion Hotel City Park Grand and Alice's Cottages and Spa Hideaways and you'll be pretty close to it. Your kids will love it if you take them to Launceston Aquatic Centre. As luck would have it, The Sebel Launceston and Edenholme Grange are not too far away, so you can swing by and see it as often as you'd like!
You might also like to stay at the Quamby Estate, which is situtated 19 kilometres away. Or otherwise you might prefer the Launceston City Park Apartments, just a distance of 0.6 kilometres from Launceston. We'd also recommend the Mantra Charles Hotel and the Country Club Tasmania. The first is 1 kilometre from downtown, while the second is 6 kilometres away.
Still haven't got your perfect room? You might just find a lavish enough thread count in Legana. You'll also be able to check out the Queen Victoria Art Gallery and the Launceston Tramway Museum. Some of our recommended Legana hotels are the Trevallyn House and Riverside Hotel. Or, you could consider staying in Breadalbane, 11 kilometres to the southeast of Launceston, where you'll find the Relbia Lodge and The Abel Tasman. If you're staying in Breadalbane, be sure to visit the Josef Chromy Wines and the Jinglers Creek Vineyard.
Rid yourself of the jet lag with a long bath at the Arendon Cottage. It's within an easy commute of Launceston Airport (13 kilometres from central Launceston), so you'll be feeling fresh as a daisy in no time at all!
