It wasn't what I was expecting.

The idea of this hotel is fine, but there are just so many strange things you should know before staying here. The first is that reception is 200m down the street from the resort and where you will be staying. There is a small incline between the two. If you are staying in the tower, know that the steps are steep and narrow. Pack light. There isn't any assistance with getting you to the resort from reception. You either have to bring your own car or walk. Again, pack light. The room is really comfortable. There is a fridge, TV, couch, small table, and a comfortable bed. The wifi is present, but none of my devices could connect to it. There was a second option available and it was the same. The TV could connect to the internet on the first two days and nights, but not on the final night. Basically, make sure you have your hotspot available for your stay. The shower was warm enough and quite large. No bath, & low step into. The cold water handle fell off when I tried to use it. The shower pressure was fine until the end of the shower. Be prepared to take short showers. It was nice to stay within a few meters of all of the attractions, but they were only open during the day. It would have been nice to have them available for guests at night too. Brady's restaurant is not open on weekends. The other one is, but it is pricey. Be prepared and get your dinners in town. Not sure where to get breakfast there, since both restaurants are only open for lunch and dinner.

Hotel was well located. Rooms were reasonable and the staff were friendly. Poor communication as there was no advice that the rooms would not be cleaned on a Sunday and we had no dry clean towels. The fridge didn’t work but the maintenance man did a speedy response to change it. We used the laundry and washed all our clothing but all the dryers were broken in both resorts and we had to go to an external laundry to dry our clothing which took most of the morning. We suggested they put out of order signage on the doors but this never occurred. Cheers Darran

Really nice room with clean environment. Warm old fashioned comfy. Only negative the toilet too cramped up with shower for us oldies. Also next to the roomwith clothes washers. Had noisy people using round 9pm. Needs a sign up on reasonable hours to use like other places.

The accommodation was fine but we feel leaving 2 packs of ear plugs which we wondered why, it was plainly clear during Saturday night The room above us the noise, language, and jumping on the floor was deafening, obviously the owners are aware of these things happening at the property due to the tavern next door. Totally unacceptable.

Noise from the busy road, upstairs rooms and the car park was not ideal. The room needed a facelift and it felt too dark. The bathroom had an exhaust fan in the wall and behind it was a void space with a light left on, quite annoying! Security screen needed repair/replacement too.
