I loved the beautiful room, cleanliness, helpful and friendly staff and delicious meals. My only disappointment was that there was no bottled water in the room included in the cost. It would have been nice to have complentaty water available on arrival to the room.

Great staff but average room

Staff was great and hotel had a comfy lounge with a fireplace. The door to the room was flimsy with minimal sound proofing; could hear everything coming from the corridor. The aircon/ventilation system was loud but did heat up the rooms quickly.

We were pleasantly impressed with our room and the hotel in general. Normally these grand hotels are run down and a bit shabby, but this was great! Plus we had a spa which I didn't realize I'd booked and that really made my trip memorable. The little extra touches were wonderful, like a travel toothbrush and razor. Very good, would definitely stay again.

Had a big mix up for dinner there but they were good about it and rectified the situation. It is an old hotel and needs a refurb and the lighting is not very good.
