I don’t even know where to start. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life and I highly advise anyone to never stay here. It’s cheap for a reason. First of all, do not buy the included breakfast. It is literally a croissant, a banana (if they even have any left) or an apple, and a drink. Zero protein options and not even close to what they advertise what the breakfast will be like. The place is dilapidated, shanty, and completely run down. The AC did not work and it was absolutely freezing, I heard others complaining about the same thing. The walls are paper thin and all you can hear is the ongoing construction, my girlfriend and I were woken up early to banging and power tools on multiple mornings. The key cards didn’t work and had to be replaced several times. The TV didn’t even work either. Half of the lamps were broken, the place smelled and the carpets were dirty. We didn’t even have a do not disturb sign so the room service lady was banging on our door every single morning around 10 am and she even opened it several times. The door doesn’t shut unless you let it slam and you can probably hear it from a mile away. The shower was either absolutely freezing or hotter than Africa. We had no shampoo. No fridge, no microwave, hardly any outlets to plug our chargers in. We tried calling the front desk several times and nobody answered. Ice machine was down on our floor, of course. Staff was rude and of no help. The photos advertised are fake. Do not come.

AVOID - STAY ANYWHERE ELSE! This is easily the worst hotel and hotel experience I’ve ever had! A ton of renovation noise, and no hot water our entire stay! Just kept telling us to keep running the water until it warmed up (45 mins and it didn’t warm up). We reached out to the front desk staff and general manager several times - finally got a response that they would give us a discount - still charged us full price for 3 very expensive nights ($500 /night). I must have contacted the general manager 5-6x with no response at all. They appear to have no interest in customer service. It’s a good location but with literally 1000s of other choices, pick something else.

I had a great stay at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel! Yes, the hotel is a bit old, but that doesn’t interfere with the experience at all. Everything was spotless and cleaned daily, which made the stay very comfortable. The front desk staff was super kind and always helpful, and the breakfast was simple but tasty—plus, the people serving it were incredibly friendly. The location is absolutely perfect! It’s right in Times Square and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Plus, it’s super easy to get anywhere in the city with the subway just steps away. Overall, I totally recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Loved my time here!

Hotel not worth the money

The rooms are dingy and dirty. I spotted at lease an inch of dust on top of the curtains. I had to change rooms because of some noise that kept me up half the night. Then there was someone smoking on my floor the seeped to the hall. The view was of a gumbotron screen that blared in my window 27/7. I will not be staying there again.
