This property is in the business of scamming! I was charged outrageous fees for being detected that there was smoke in the room. I made contact with the hotel management and they did not want to help at all. I had to ask over and over for a final detailed bill of the charges. They provide some type of graph detailing one incident of smoke being detected. No one in my group smokes. As we were leaving we noticed another person at the counter having the same conversation about being charged these fees! I will never stay here or recommend this hotel again!

They need to keep the small shop open longer and improve the bar facilities. For such a lovely bar area we were disappointed with the range of beers and the ambience of the bar area. It could have been made into a much more welcoming fun area. When you have explored the city, a nice evening with drinks would have been enjoyable

New York Visit

Very nice clean and safe hotel. Room was nice and clean and the hotel was nice and quiet. No complaints at all. Very close to a lot of places that you can walk to.

It’s interesting that no coffee maker in a hotel in this level. Other parts of the hotel is good, especially it’s in a location that is very convenient.

The hotel is lovely! An easy walk from the train at Penn Station. The room is great, with a separate seating area with a couch. Our only disappointments were that it felt slightly understaffed for a busy Saturday night check in keeping the wait longer than comfortable and that the restaurant/bar was already closed at 10:30 pm. The comfortable, clean, convenient room is just what we needed.

Perfect location

The location was perfect, very conveniently located, walking distance to Rockerfeller, Central Park, Times Square, and midtown. Transit links on the doorstep to get elsewhere in the city. Staff were very helpful and polite. Things like kettles were only provided when we asked for them, but we were delivered to our room when we asked. Room was larger than expected which was a nice surprise for central New York. I would absolutely stay again. BE AWARE you will be charged a $500 deposit on arrival which I was not aware of when I arrived. This was not charged to me in the end as I left the room clean and tidy, but just something to be aware of so you don’t get the same shock I did!
