The hotel needs to be closed. It’s being managed poorly and only one out of the three elevators were publicly available. The wait time was about 10 minutes to get one. The rooms are tolerable but the ac is not regulating properly. No TV remote was in the room and the outer door slammed each time you leave the room.

Unknown to us at booking, the hotel was under extreme renovations (which were needed) and it was impossible to get an elevator. Our room was musty and extremely damp. The humidity in the room was 70%. The AC did not work properly and it was difficulty maintaining a comfortable temperature. We were approached by Dale who was very nice. He offered a discount for the inconveniences. The other employee who did a great job was Sean and I personally thanked him for listening and his understanding. The hotel does not have a place to relax outside like a courtyard so it made the stay unbearable. I won’t stay again or recommend a stay at this hotel.

Elevators were EXTREMELY slow and one of them was "in service" the entire stay. Parking is in a different lot across the street and was $85/night--more expensive than other options in the area.

This hotel is located on west 54th street, fairly convenient to much of midtown Manhattan. Outside of the hotel, the street felt grungy (not their fault). The bed was comfortable and a decent size for that location and the price. A garage was very nearby and surprisingly low priced - for midtown Manhattan.

Location was perfect for walking to our theater and Times Square. Worst problem: Elevators were not functioning properly the entire visit. From our room on the 15th floor we never waited less than 10 min for the elevator and often more. Unacceptable.

Beds were not comfortable and my booking was bumped to a room with 2 double beds instead of 2 queen beds as initially booked. I was not notified about the change at all and there were 4 of us staying in one room. This made for an uncomfortable sleep. Apparently they over booked the room type. I was compensated with breakfast vouchers after I questioned why we only had double beds. Staff was friendly, but I was very disappointed.

The location is great, it is clean, staff are nice and professional. But the elevator service is so bad that I would not stay here again. It can take 20 minutes or more for an elevator to arrive and often they are already full. The elevator cabins are small and only two of the elevators were operational, and for short time only one. If you do decide to stay here I recommend a very low floor so that you can use the stairs if needed.

Really nice and clean hotel! The only concern we had was with the AC not cooling to the set number we chose so sometimes we’d wake up to 78 degree so just watch out!

The location of this hotel was perfect, close to plenty of subway stations and close to Times Square. The issue we had was with the lifts. There was only 2 working lifts for a very populated building, these lifts were very small and others would push in front as there was no order. We had to plan our day around the lift. Whilst at the hotel they do warn you of the demand of the lift- however we would typically wait 10-20 minutes for the lift! There was no stairs to use to walk up instead of waiting for the lift. In addition the gym was under construction which was frustrating as well as the lift.

Parking is a tough situation bud it's New York. Extremely convenient to times square, central park and 5th Ave. The rooms were great except waiting for the elevator. New Yorkers have their own way to get use to but they are chill people. The staff were nice and available 8 out of 10 overall

The lifts were a problem. We waited 20 mins for one and others had said they waited 40 mins. At one time only one lift was working . there are 34 floors. We had to get into an up lift to go down as the lift was not stopping on the way down

Facilities need some love...

I called in the morning to ask for early check and was told brusquely that nothing was available. Check in at the normal time was great (Thanks, Sean!) Restaurant was closed. One of three elevators was out, making trips up and down time consuming (There is actually a sign by the elevators saying that guests should plan for delays during busing times. Wha? Room phone didnt work but room was clean and comfortable with good a/c. Lost my phone Saturday night and front desk was kind enough to call the retaurant for me. Lovely.
