The staff was great, however the amenities did seem to be lacking. One of the elevators was down for my entire stay and based on other reviews this seems to be pretty common. The description for the room also mentioned a full length mirror and mini fridge, neither of which were included in the room. I was disappointed about the mini fridge considering the heat in NYC right now!

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean with modern fixtures, good water pressure, and hot water. Lobby felt very safe, even at 2am. Room was very small but I was only there to sleep and shower, so it wasn’t an issue. Location is incredibly convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Ameritania was a great location. Far enough away from Times Square to not be noisy but close enough to walk to many attractions. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Bellhops were AMAZING! Only complaint is there were some issues with the elevators and key cards. Luckily the hotel isn’t too many floors so it didn’t waste too much time. The cool water was a nice touch.

small room, super noisy AC

The staff was helpful, but a few things need to be mentioned. The room was very small with very few electric outlets. AC was super noisy and to top it off a construction site starts making a lot of noise in addition to the already noisy city. Room keys are very sensitiv to cell phones and credit cards and did not work well in the elevators and doors. One elevator was down during our stay

Location excellent and central to many things. Subway one block up. The AC unit was not working properly during our stay and kept turning off. We figured out that we had to shut the bathroom door to keep the AC running. So the bathroom was hot!
