A super solid offering in Manhattan in a terrific location. Just slightly north of the craziness of Times Square, within easy reach of Central Park, and lots of restaurants around. Sister property to The Empire, similarly outfitted, but in much better condition. I have a feeling that their management software is in need of an upgrade, and I had to have my key card re-keyed four times for a three night stay. No one‘s fault, but that seemed a little bit excessive for what I’m used to.

Pleasant stay

Great location for this small hotel. Check-in was fast and friendly, bag storage was easy on check-in and check-out days. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Elevators were prompt and there was ice water available at all times. Will definitely stay again on a future trip.

Needs work

The property is so-so. Everything looks "sort of right" but it's clear that there's massive cost savings happening. Most handymen would have done a better job remodeling the bathroom. The TV has a few channels. The room's are super dark and you feel like you're an extra in a film noire. I wouldn't stay there again.

Decent NYC accomodations

Decent hotel in a prime location in NYC. Rooms facing the street with lots of noise at night, as expected - even on higher floors. Room clean, bed comfortable, bathroom VERY small but clen and functional, no critters detected. Elevator key works 5% of the time - have to swipe until hand falls off... Fair for the price in May in NYC ($270 per night).

I would rate this hotel as fair. The staff were mediocre during my encounters. The room was a decent size but the bed was small. I thought that I would be getting a queen size bed but what I got was a NY full size. The bed was very squishy and not supportive. There was no hair dryer in the room. The latched lock on the door was broken and fell to pieces when I tried to use it. The lobby was showing signs of wear. My friend who stayed with me, went to the gym and said it was a little creepy being down in the basement. The amenities could surely use and upgrade.
