The property is close to everything so that was a plus. We were able to walk to everything from where we stayed. I kept tripping over one of the beds because the foot of one of the beds was sticking out. There is also a metal door stop in the middle of the floor that we were unaware of until we ran into it with our foot which didn't feel good. The beds were so soft and not in a good way. They definitely need updated. Our room was very noisy granted you're in the city of New York so I expected that however the window in our room was open at the top. We tried to close it but every time we pushed up the bottom of the window would open. I didn't feel like that was safe. I'm shocked that it opened in the first place being that it's a hotel and it's New York city. The staff was very friendly including the front desk staff. The elevators were difficult to use because our key would not read and he had to keep trying it over and over again until finally you got it to work. Oftentimes we'd be trying to get our key to work so we could click on our floor and somebody would call the elevator and we'd wind up on a different floor and have to ride back down to the floor that we were trying to get to. We wound up taking the steps more than the elevator. It's definitely in the heart of everything so I would say it's convenient to get places from the hotel. It was very small compared to what I'm used to for a hotel room. There weren't many options on the TV.
