The cleaning staff kept offering us towels, so they were great. Front desk was helpful too, but I needed one extra hour past checkout, and they only granted me 1/2 hour , and this is midweek, so I felt that they could’ve done more. Nice that this hotel gives you water bottles. The rooms are knicked up and there is no place for luggage or your toiletry items. I picked this hotel solely on location. It is average, not great, not terrible.

The staff was very friend and helpful. The room was comfortable. Would have been nice to have more drawers. The bathroom needs updating - the curtain barely reaches the tub so water would get out during showers; the shoer would drip for 20+mins after turning off; sink took a long time to drain; shower/tub has rust color stained on the ledge (makes it look dirty)

The location is terrific but the condition of the hotel is terrible. The rooms are old and badly in need of updating. The lights flickered in the bathroom and the paint was chipping on the bathroom door and ceiling in the shower. The furniture and refrigerator needs replacing. It's sad because the location and the lobby is really good but the room needs major updates. Plus when we got there to check in, there was a really long line to check in. Two of the four elevators did not work and there was a line to take the elevators.

I recently stayed at your hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located. Times Square is just a short walk away, Central Park is less than 10 minutes walking distance, and there’s a subway station only a few minutes from the hotel. Everything about the location and facilities was excellent. However, I was disappointed with the customer service at the front desk. On October 29th, around 4:00 p.m., the staff at the lobby were unfortunately rude and unhelpful. The next day, October 30th, around 11:00 a.m., one of the employees who was training a young gentleman was also quite rude and had a very unpleasant attitude. The trainee, on the other hand, was kind and professional. The rest of the team was absolutely wonderful, from the doormen to the elevator and restaurant staff; everyone was friendly and welcoming. It’s just unfortunate that the front desk, which is the first to represent the hotel and greet guests, did not reflect the same standard of service. Despite that, I truly loved the hotel and would gladly stay again. I hope my feedback helps improve the guest experience, as this is a fantastic place overall.

This hotel was unacceptable and should be closed until they can afford to renovate. Among the 3 rooms we tried after complaining about the first one, none of them were up to date and they felt disgusting to sleep in. I was mortified. We were permitted a full refund to move hotels, but we had to run a marathon the next morning and could not waste energy trying to do that at 4pm the night before a race. We had a variety of open wires, lamp shades falling off, stained curtains, broken tiles, peeling wallpaper, ripped up carpet, peeling paint, and furniture in terrible condition, among other issues. The staff was very nice and tried to assist but there wasn't much they could do. The only good part of this hotel was staff and location.

Great hotel but I didn’t have properly working heat for all 4 nights I stayed there. The heat wouldn’t turn on all night. It would work during the day. But then it would be too hot. It wasn’t controllable. They gave me blankets for sleeping at night. The shower head hose leaked.

The staff were great. The thermostat in the room didn't work so I could not control the temperature in room. In spite of maintenance coming to fix it twice, the thermostat didn't work. They adjusted the temperature but didn't fix the problem. The room was either very cold 59 or very hot 78.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Nice elegant lobby though freezing temperature wise! Bathroom had extensive peeling paint on inside of door hair on wall of shower even though it had been cleaned they just missed that part, and stained curtains. Maybe because we booked on Expedia we got a substandard room? Will not stay there again but was interesting to try it out due to its history.
