We have stayed in this hotel many times. It’s a great location and the staff are friendly, knowledgable and responsive. The valet car parking is convenient and the attendants are really helpful. All that said, this hotel needs a major overhaul. Especially the rooms. They get worse every time we stay. They are clean but just really worn out. This past weekend, we had no hot water. It was luke warm at best. The staff sent someone right away to fix it but it didn’t help. Also the shower fixtures were broken and we couldn’t switch between the rain shower head and the handheld. And the handheld kept falling out of its saddle. If they do decide to do a much needed renovation, DO NOT DO RAINSHOWER SHOWERHEADS OR GLASS BATHROOM DOORS!! When the light is turned on at night it wakes everyone up!

Everything was perfect. That location is awesome. It has many places around to eat and everything is closed, but the only issue was the hot water. We didn’t have hot water in the room which was difficult for us because we had little kids, but staff was excellent and the location is excellent. The only thing they got fixed is the Issue with the water.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. You can get anywhere in NYC so easily. My room had definitely been remodeled at one point but was veryworn. The carpet, bathroom, ceiling, desk chair, everything was falling apart. There was no coffee, microwave, or fridge in the room. The room was quite small and I've stayed in many hotels in NYC. It was not bad all, if you can overlook the things that need to be remodeled. The room was very clean, no complaints with housekeeping. I wish there was room service for the restaurants on-site. The line to store your luggage was so long I opted just to head to the airport. All that to say, if the price was right I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The biggest issue was not just the hotel itself, but the lack of accessible customer support through Hotels.com. When I needed to make a simple name change due to an emergency (stolen wallet), I was routed through an AI-only system that required a four-digit PIN I did not have. I was able to provide the itinerary number which was the only number given to me on the reservation.Despite having the full confirmation number, I could not reach a live agent, and the system eventually stated that the reservation could not be modified. This left us stranded at the hotel with no immediate solution. Hotels.com needs to provide better human support in urgent, real-world situations.

We booked this hotel for it's location...very convenient...it's not a Hilton or Sheraton but definitely has its own flavor...beautiful roof top lounge area ...bed is very hard but when u have walked in your feet for hours in NYC you can sleep anywhere lol It's right next to Lincoln performance center .. very artsy and hipster location

Lots of on demand water from front desk. Staff courteous. Great location but second floor room, though GORGEOUS view was LOUD AS HECK! My companion had no trouble but I am a light sleeper and even with (hunter quality) earplugs and a pillow over my head the constant traffic noise was a sleep depriver. If you are a light sleeper, request a higher floor room.

The room had wires from the AC/Heat unit exposed underneath. The AC/Heat was stuck and would not change temperature. This is my hesitation to book again as we are coming back in a few months. The bed-frame was wobbly when you turned over on the bed you would hear it. The shower was amazing and had great pressure. The house keepers were very nice. The room we stayed in definitely needs some remodeling.

When we arrived the room temperature was 64 degrees and then it went down to 62. Front staff and manager suggested that if we were uncomfortable at that temperature we should wait in the lobby. They kept reporting it would be fixed in 5 or 10 minutes. It was fixed shortly after 4 pm. No hot water in the bathroom sink - ever. No staff was interested in an apology. The room was clean but grubby too.

Staff was not as friendly as I had read about. And on our last day no hot water to shower, called front desk and told boiler was getting fixed. No apologies or anything upon checkout. Location was convenient but wouldn’t stay there again.
