We love staying at the Newcastle Holiday Inn Express IHG. Every thing is clean, comfortable, convenient for our purposes. The staff are always very lovely, friendly and helpful at all times. We often stay due to medical appointments in Newcastle area. We love the location as we are close to medical, and clise enough to the harbour to be able to get out and excerise and enoy the beautiful harbour foreshore walk ways. Its our place of choice when travelling to Newcastle. Highly recommend to sray here

Very surprised with this find. The staff were helpful, friendly and efficient. The location was handy to shops and the tram. The included breakfast was good and the coffee that came with it has to be the best long black I’ve had out of a machine. I appreciated that there was a gym too but unfortunately didn’t get time to enjoy that. The room was nice, and I loved the blockout blind. The amenities are lovely- good shower which is important. I thought the pillow cases that labelled whether the pillow was firm or soft was very novel and appreciated that, and also lots of points to charge devices. My only criticisms were that the bed was not comfortable. We could easily feel each others turns and shuffles in the bed, so didn’t sleep well. Also, the power point in the tea and coffee area didn’t work. I forgot to tell reception about that. Overall a good stay. I would come back.
