During my stay at the Hyatt Grand Central New York, I experienced repeated problems with the valet parking service — which is directly charged and managed by the hotel itself. The manager, E. G., admitted that they were having “internal issues” with the valet provider, yet those problems were passed on to the guests. This is completely unacceptable. It is the management’s duty to resolve such issues, not to let customers pay the price for their inefficiency. Even after notifying the front desk in advance, my car was consistently delayed — taking more than an hour and a half every single time. For a hotel charging such high rates, this level of disorganization and lack of accountability is simply inexcusable. The management showed poor leadership and an inability to ensure basic service standards, which is disappointing for a brand like Hyatt.

It was a good stay, the room was small but pretty clean. The bathtub was really small. I gave 4 stars because it was not a friendly welcome. I wish the people at the front desk will give a more warm welcome but besides that, everything was pretty cool.

The lady who did the check in, her service was horrible and she was disrespectful. The bathroom in the room smelled like a public restroom. The paint in the walls shipped, the ac was hot. The area surrounding the hotel was extremely dirty and full of homeless people. No one helped you or greeted you when you enter the hotel.
