The staff was rude and the room was terrible. The only thing redeeming about this hotel is the location. The room was an okay size, but the bathroom was terrible. Not only was the bathroom tiny, the bathroom door looked like someone had taken it from the scrap heap. The cabinets were chipped and damaged, the toilet looked like it had come from a public bathroom. The shower was absolutely tiny, and the bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash were mounted above head height (and I'm 5'7", so it's not like I'm super short either).

The Hyatt Grand Central is a wonderful hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to explore while visiting New York City.

Bathroom was incredibly small. I have been a guest at this hotel for years but never had a room that wasn’t up to standard. Hotel has slipped in recent years. Breakfast buffet in the lobby is 75.00 per person. No room service. Just not a great place to stay anymore. Will look elsewhere in the future .
