It was a great stay for a reasonable price. The room was spacious and you could control temperature in the bedroom and living room separately. Location is good. Staff was friendly although they wouldn’t allow food delivery upstairs and wouldn’t bring it up themselves. Also it was a bit disappointing that there was no iron or steamer available in the room or hotel (aside from paying for a service), which is surprising for a nice hotel when clothing is commonly wrinkled after travel. Overall a very good stay.

Fantastic! Way beyond our expectations! Very clean, very large, every detail was addressed. Wonderful balcony. But, the best asset was the super employees. From check in to check out, every interaction with all employees was way beyond what one might expect. From the bell hop who explained every detail of our room to the fantastic door man, Harry, who covered ALL our transportation needs, don’t know how anything could have been better. This hotel really allowed us to have a wonderful visit with our family, enjoy a great Mother’s Day, and celebrate our 56th Wedding Anniversary. Really enjoyed the wonderful surprise gift. Thank you all for everything!

From the minute we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we would have the best possible experience. The suite with balcony was filled with great amenities and extremely wonderful bedding. The rooftop bar was an added bonus in this beautiful weather. Always a must stay when in NYC!

The Kimberly is a classic hotel with beautiful furnishings, attentive service, and three options for dining along with room service. Providing valet parking is a great help in NYC. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located in midtown just a few blocks from Fifth Avenue and 50th Street special spots(Rockefeller Center as one example).

Over all beautiful hotel. Amazing housekeeping staff. So friendly and thorough. We just feel that some of the front desk staff was unorganized and not as friendly as they could be. We had packages delivered and they couldn’t find it and didn’t feel receptive or helpful. BUT, two young ladies who checked us in on the 30th early afternoon were fantastic. Please commend them for exceptional service that day and the following days. The door staff were fantastic and the young man who carried our bags up was stellar. Bravo. Over all good hotel and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping.

I checked in at 7pm and my room was dirty with a full can of garbage and water splashed around the sink. To top it all off, one of the rooms under my reservation the AC was not working at all and it was 85 degrees that day. I had reservations for a bachelorette that I had to attend to soon after checking in and did not have time to deal with a new room and I called the desk to express my concerns and received no remorse. When I followed up with an email, I was told the engineer “checked” the AC unit and there were no issues. So basically they are saying we made it up and chose to sweat all night. Offered no reimbursement and instead insulted me by offering me a free drink when I don’t even live in NYC.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting New York! Staff were wonderful, rooms were great (ac worked great and was cold, they were SUPER clean and all the things we needed, beds were actually SUPER comfy), area is relatively quiet but very close and central to all the great places. 10/10
