My room was on floor 1, which was louder than expected due to traffic. It may be worthwhile to inform those guest that would be on floor 1, especially if they are light sleepers like myself. The lack of sleep made it challenging to be focused at the work event I was in the city for.

There was construction going on next-door to our room. It would’ve been nice to have some sort of a heads up before we arrived. I realize this is not the problem of the hotel itself, and luckily, we were out a good bit during the day.

Upon check in we went to our room. Came back down to ask for one we saw that was more like what i ordered online. The concierge lady said we spent 30 minutes in our room its considered occupied and cannot switch it. She then corrected herself when I gave her a room we saw walking back down, first she said thats not what I ordered then she politely said Im sorry that is what you ordered. But because we were in the room 30 minutes (more like 15) she was unable to switch. The view was of another window 2 feet away. The size was half of what i ordered. The toilet broke. The windows were dirty. I just felt gross and claustrophobic as I walked in. My daughter and I both said its one night. Would not stay again.
