Elevators took long and most were out of service or packed. The rooms were not kept up well. The beds were made and all but the walls were dirty and banged up. The rooms are also smaller than they appear, and the beds are full size not queen. Very crowded, very busy.

The elevators were constantly a problem the week we went. The day we left we had to go down to the lower level and he redirected to another elevator/stair system to even get into the lobby. Half of the time the elevators wouldn’t even come, we would request our floor and it would say cannot allocate lift. We were directed to the staff elevators for half our stay because it would take well over 20 minutes to even get an elevator to bring us to our floor. Upon check in the staff did not explain the cost or the nightly $35 cost of food/entertainment that if we didn’t use it we would lose out on the fee anyways. The cleaning staff was amazing and our room was always tidied quickly and towels were always provided. The main problem was the elevators this week.

Very good location. Close to Central Park, Times Squares and Metro stations. If you arrive early they have luggage storage for a fee. Staff is very friendly y courteous. The rooms need some updates, but it was very cleaned.

It took over 40 minutes to check in due to the lack of Sheraton personnel available to check in guest. bag check was not provided by Sheraton, they had a supplier check bags, which charged excessively per bag, no matter the size of the bag. no wifi was provided unless you paid for it. Water took 20 minutes to get hot in the morning and afternoon

Nice hotel overall, but it was very busy which did not make for the best situation with the complicated elevator system. One the last day of our stay, we had to take the service elevators just to be able to leave. Also, our room had a hole in the wall. That was quite a surprise to find in such a hotel.

The rooms are not updated, so dusty. The washrooms are not renovated. Only the lobby is nice and the washrooms in the lobby. We had to get a new room since we found bugs on our pillows.. they charge $35 a day USD that you have to use and two out of the four days we lost the money because we never got to use it and this was not explained at check-in. Although the staff was accommodating, and the location was very good, there’s a lot of changes that need to be made.

It took over 40 minutes to check in ( not enough staff- only one person at prime check in time), half of the elevators were not working, the touch screens for most of the elevators were not working. Some other guests had to take the service elevator. Only saw a doorman once in 4 days, and we hailed our own taxi. The room was sub par, black mold in the shower & curtain. TV didn't work half the time. Electrical outlet plates were coming off the wall. The main entrance door was only partially opening. Have stayed here numerous times, will never go back after this visit. Went down hill fast.
The line went almost to the door.

The whole place is chaos. Lobby is always packed, long lines for elevators. Needed an extra blanket for the room but the phone didn’t work so had to go downstairs, then it took a long time for them to deliver it. Waited over 20 minutes to get an elevator to go downstairs one morning. The concierge didn’t come to work one morning so I couldn’t get my complementary museum tickets. Rooms were ok but place is too crazy and poorly run.
