I really enjoyed the location of this hotel, being in Times Square but not smack dab in the center was a plus. Very busy hotel with a subway line right at the corner made our commute very easy. My only complaint was my debt card was charged twice for my stay one cleared and the other one was pending. That became a temporary inconvenience which would have been even more frustrating had I not checked my account at midnight the day before we checked out.

Horrible, very old, elevator super slow, rooms super noisy, i mean 0 insonorisation, the bed was dirty, had a stained of blood…Tylor the manager didn’t do anything to compensate, they just changed the sheets. Avoid for sure !

The hotel was very nice and a perfect location for me to explore NYC. I didn't loke the convention group of young adults made getting on and off the elevator a challenge.

While I certainly didn't expect the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel to be a quiet or sleepy property, I did not expect the level of pandemonium when we arrived: Guests everywhere, lines out the door to check our luggage for $6 per bag — the first time a hotel has ever changed me for storing luggage for a few hours until my room was available. The front desk staff were acceptable, neither curt nor especially friendly, given the chaos they were dealing with, including hundreds of Model UN high school students from overseas. My biggest complaint involved the elevators, which were a nightmare. I don't know how a major NYC hotel can have an elevator system in which the passengers have no buttons to push inside to choose their floor, nor can they see what floor they're currently on. When I attempted to go to my room on the 15th floor, I boarded an elevator with three elderly women inside who were just trying to get to the fifth floor but had no idea how to get there. By some miracle, the elevator stopped on my floor. I got off, brought my bags to the room, used the restroom then returned the elevators. When I finally got on again at least 10 minutes,the same three women were still on the elevator trying to reach the fifth floor. For all I know, they're still there in elevator limbo. Whoever designed that system should lose their engineering license and be publicly flogged. My room was fine.

Checkin took very long eventhough it was about 830pm they had dozens of people waiting and only 2 people doing the check in.. then they told me my room was not ready and wanted to give me a downgraded room , i had to argue to get the room i requested.. they gave me one and there was an awful smell in the room.. it didnt feel like a room that was just cleaned.. we didnt have any other option so we just stayed... but overall very disappointed

The checking in they didn’t have a bed available at 4pm had to go back 4 hours later and still wasn’t ready. They are poor staff. The staff try their best to accommodate but need more people. Waited 45 minutes for an elevator. My experience in that hotel was bad dont recommended.
