The Belvedere Hotel

Room was clean and bathroom very nice it looks as if the room has been recently renovated. We were on the 14th floor. Everyone is friendly Janet at the front desk assisted to book another night. The coffee clutch is great in the morning and the woman who runs it is so very efficient and makes sure the coffee runs steadily.

i dont know why they say it has a kitchenette , a microwave and mini fridge is not a kitchenette, also the tv did not work, i was not going to be watching much tv so i did not call f.desk, finally, when checking in i had to listen for 10 minutes while the clerk was on the phone constantly repeating to whoever he was talking to that there res, was all set and they had nothing to worry about over and over, couldnt he've put the worry wart on hold and deal with me, a live person standing in front of him who's been traveling all day, very tired and wanting to get to my room, seems like poor cust svc. to give preference to a caller rather then people at the front desk.

Looks like the hotel was recently obit lacked seating in the room. There was an area for a couple of comfortable chairs but there were none. Had to be sit on the bed. No luggage holder

Cheap , not kept up, out dated and COCKROACHES!

Was met by long line at check in although it moved fairly fast. The room itself was a decent size however, bathroom faucets missing facades, no curtains to block out light, only a pull down blind that does not block out the light. My husband used bathroom in the middle of the night and was met by a cockroach in the sink! GROSS! Only two elevators that are both INSANELY small and VERY slow (we waited 10+ mins for the elevator during our check out)

It is an absolutely outstanding location close to Time Square but not too close. Great access to subways and all the great restaurants and shops and everything else on ninth Avenue. It was quiet with the exception that the air conditioner was a little loud. We will stay there again.
