First time in NYC Great location to Time Square restaurants on premise were great , singing wait staff in Friedman's were fantastic , staff was friendly , concierge could use additional training but i'm old school Room was small, clean, bed comfortable If I go back to NYC which I plan to do I will stay at again without question

To start off, we didn’t get the room that was shown in the pictures on Expedia. The room we received was dilapidated and incredibly cramped. I brought up this as well as all of the issues we were having with the room to the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do. Halfway into our trip, they offered to move us to another room, but it was the same size just a different layout. They also told us it would cost us an extra $1100 to move rooms. We had issues with a leaking sink, and extremely noisy heater, no working desk as advertised, the bathroom door did not lock, the door between the rooms was not sitting correctly, so the door kept getting stuck, etc. We will not be staying at Hotel Edison again anytime in the near future.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Edison. The location truly couldn’t be better — we were able to walk almost everywhere we went during our trip, which made exploring the city so easy. The lobby is beautiful and full of historic charm, and it was decorated so festively for Christmas. It really added to the magic of the season. The staff was consistently courteous and welcoming, which made us feel well taken care of from the start. We stayed in a king room, which was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was a bit small, but that’s completely expected for comparable hotels in this area of NYC. What really impressed us was how quiet it was. At check-in, I asked if a quieter room was available, and the staff member placed us on one of the highest floors at the end of the hall. We had great city views, and it was surprisingly peaceful for being in the heart of New York — I was very happy with that. I also appreciated the added security. There was a doorman outside, and security verified hotel keys before allowing access to the hotel elevator area. Safety clearly felt like a priority, and I felt very safe staying here. We also took advantage of the grab-and-go breakfast from Bond 45, which was included and perfect for busy mornings. It kept us full through hours of walking and sightseeing until lunchtime. Overall, Hotel Edison was a great place to stay, and we would absolutely stay here again.

We were right in the heart of Time Square! The staff were amazing! From front desk to housekeeping to doormen, everyone was exceptional. The room was comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the A/C the first night and they sent maintenance right up and fixed it quickly.

Great location for walking to a large amount of attractions. Loved the free breakfast options. Cool old hotel vibes with updates of modern amenities. Room was clean upon arrival. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We were right by the elevator so that was a little noisy but nothing that kept me up at all. Restaurants are both so good. From 5-8pm they had singing servers and it was such a good time. Lots of security measures as well-felt extra safe. Will be back again!!

Felt very safe, good location, clean, housekeeping was excellent, beds were comfortable, despite construction going on outside, it was pretty quiet. Air conditioning is very loud, when it cycles on and off, wakes you up at night. Also, no shower door so the floor stays wet, you put down towels to catch the water and make it safe, so then you step on wet towels everytime you are in the bathroom. For $550 a night, I feel this is totally unacceptable.
