Extremely well located in the Theater district. Staff is friendly and checkin/out is very well organized. Room is very small. King bed but only one office chair and built in desk. Big tourist hotel, but well managed. It is a fairly noisy part of town. Be prepared for that.

Really interesting lobby, several included options for breakfast, multiple bars/restaurants attached/in the same building. Staff was great. Room was a decent size for NYC. Excellent location for Times Square and Broadway.

When we arrived, the toilet was flooding. As asked for engineering to come fix it, however, even after a technician arrived, the toilet continued to leak water throughout the bathroom. We contacted the front desk and asked for a different room but were told that the hotel was completely booked. We then asked for a credit or discount and were told that we would not receive one. This was a very disappointing experience at the Hotel Edison.

Solo Getaway for Mom

Came into town for a 3-day solo trip. I loved everything about Hotel Edison. The vibe, the staff, the location, the restaurants and bars….and that king bed was incredibly comfortable! The room was very clean and the bathroom was adorable. Can’t wait to stay again next year!

The reception staff were extremely rude. He asked me to stand in the line when there was no line. As I got back a line started forming, and then when I reached the counter, he said the counter is closed. I had specifically requested for a quiet room two weeks ago when I was booking they said they cannot provide and the room was below standard for the $314 that I paid. They also charge me an extra facility fee, which did not get refunded. I checked in and checked out in five minutes and they still did not have the courtesy to refund me anything please do not ruin your vacation and stay at this hotel, it is not worth the money, there are much better hotels in Midtown for the money that you pay. Stay away from EDISON
