Overpriced for what it offers. Place is old and rooms are small. Only reason to stay here is the location . They charge you a service fee on top of the room fee. Make that make sense. I would not recommend this place.

This property is old and noisy pipes, kept us up all night. Went to have our room moved and made us wait till nearly 5:00pm to get another room. First room had no shower door, no drawers for clothes and no door for closet, felt like accommodation needed a lot of attention. Did enjoy the restaurants and Rum Bar on sight. Close to Times Square strip.

DISAPPOINTING

Frankly, we are disappointed in this hotel. It is quite close to Times Square and apparently houses something like 1000 guests at a time. Neither of those facts is a problem, but the hotel is frenetic, with large crowds in the lobby pretty much all the time, very loud music in the common areas and elevators, and average service. We had a suite, and both heaters pumped heat out like it was a sauna. Neither of them appeared to work on “automatic” setting, so we ended up unplugging one completely during our stay. We also left the other unit on A/C all the time, because if we didn’t, it got hotter and hotter. We called the front desk a couple of times, the first of which no one came and the second of which someone came, but left the unit running, again pumping out hot air with no change whatsoever to its function. We had thoroughly explained the problem, and they seemed not to understand. The desk chair had a screw that popped out, leaving it wobbly. The faucet dispensed water like a fire hose. No subtlety whatsoever. The free breakfast is a plus, and we would recommend using the voucher at nearby. Carve, as their selections were way more substantive than the grab and go in the hotel.
