Close to JFK this hotel offers a clean room and bed. The breakfast is extremely frugal and airport transfer is unreliable. While check-in they said it is available anytime and while check-out they said it goes only by hour! Had to take a Lyft to go to Airport.
Will not stay there again. Did not know about parking and front desk wasn't friendly.

Me and my 2 minor children arrived at the hotel late although the hotel was notified days in advance that our flight will be arriving late to New York. We got to the hotel at 11:00 at night to sign in but the receptionist informed me that our reservation was canceled due to my bank card declining which was a LIE and she said no rooms were available. My best friend arrived at the same hotel a few minutes before I got there with her 2 children and the receptionist gave her the same LIE about her card declining so her reservation was canceled too. The lady at the desk had no respect or dignity while looking at us in that lobby trying to figure out what we were going to do because of her unprofessional behavior and cruelty. It was late at night and our train back home was not till early the next morning so we took a UBER to the train station and sat in the lobby until our train home that morning which was so uncomfortable for us all!!! I am so digusted with how this person who represented your establishment handle me and my friend that night. I WILL NEVER CONSIDER YOU HOTEL AGAIN😡
The only way to access the rooms is down a flight of stairs very inconvenient. Parking is around the back of the property again very unsafe.. Dining is VERY limited. Would not recommend.

The pros: close to the airport, clean rooms, very comfortable beds, clean and hot showers
The cons: The property and its surroundings are in middling shape. There is a complimentary airport shuttle, but do not expect it to come anywhere near on time. There is also breakfast but pretty basic and not worth it. The management is helpful and well meaning but not professional in an American sense.
I like the ease of major highways and eateries near by. I didn’t like that the sanitation dept was next door so the smell outside was horrible. The staff for the most part was respectful but the overall satisfaction of the stay was poor. During my arrival, the sink would not drain, a technician had to fix the issue, the phone in the room didn’t work, so I had to go back and forth to the front desk, one day they ran out of wash clothes and the room is decent. Also when they run out of hot water for tea, they don’t replenish.
I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all. As a family, we did not have lots of options and we needed to stay near JFK to take a morning flight the next day. The hotel is not clean. I thought I booked a room with 2 queen size beds, just to discover that the beds are full size. When we requested to move to a room with 2 queen size beds as we booked through Expedia and paid for, we were told that the beds were queen and all rooms are the same. The beds are full size and we confirmed with the mattress tags. Again, the facility is dirty. I was actually disgusted by it that I asked my family not to have the free breakfast. Also, when you get to JFK, please call the hotel for your shuttle. You will wait forever if you don't.
Lost the reservation from expedia and I wasn't the only one that day, also were rude unhelpful after it was found and then the next day shuttle was an hour late I had to pay for and uber. Homeless people in the waiting area and overall negative experience. I know its New York but this was even over the top for the attitude.
