My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at John Hotel!! The room was cozy and the floors didn’t have a sticky residue feeling! The AC is also VERY STRONG and I felt like freezing! Which is good during the hot weather! 🌞 They’ll give you the wifi password with your room key and I had no issues with the speed of it, and my boyfriend was able to play his laptop games with no issue either! There is also free cable on the TV, so if you’re wanting to bring your Roku stick or an HDMI cord with a device, there was an open slot to use those on! :) Our room also came with a microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, and coffee maker. We also didn’t get the best view out the window since we were ground level 😂 But we went out for most of the day and were still very happy with the room, so we really didn’t mind! Speaking of going out, the location of this hotel is very convenient and close to all the food spots we wanted to go to! It’s only about 8 minutes to get to New World Mall, and the Tangram mall is literally around the corner for all the hip Pop Mart shops and fun arcade inside! 🕹️ I looked into so many hotels in the Flushing area, and John Hotel really caught my eye with the great price and clean/cozy rooms! And I don’t regret my choice for choosing to book here :) I will say you will be able to hear sounds from hallways pretty clear, but it’s usually just people/staff passing by so the sounds don’t last long. Overall great location - convenient if you’re going to Citi Field for a game or concert. The beds were a little stiff (pillows too) and the shower, despite being clean, had a few little gnats flying around but with the humidity, I wasn’t surprised. Generally a good stay, however it would be nice if the staff actually tells you where they serve breakfast upon check in instead of just telling the hours.

Beds were hard as hell! Like laying on a blanket on a hard wood floor. My back. Smh Other than that for the price, it was ok. Clean. Staff helpful. They did have ice 'bagged' ans you can hear the airplanes pass overhead. If not for the beda, i qould give it 4/5
