The property and rooms were on the larger side and has plenty of free parking. Its walking distance to the Niagara Falls and very convenient to nearby resturants. As far as the surrounding area, its not the hotels fault, but it's sort of deserted and run down. I feel its still one of the best options fo visit the Falls though. We didn't run into any issues walking around.
The only issue worth mentioning is that the two front desk ladies weren't rude or unprofessional, but definately not friendly or volunteering any helpful information like where the elevators or rooms are located. I had to ask and the one that checked us in pointed accross the lobby. While in the elevator, my wife and I were talking about the lack of hospitality, and a couple of ladies told us they had the same experience.
Our stay was for only 2 nights. On the first full day, we went out early and came back to clean up for dinner. It really didn't matter to me if the linen wasn't changed out, but no room service at all? Our bed wasn't even made. Maybe is was a mistake on the scheduling. Not that it was a deal breaker, but it was sort of odd and just wanted to mention it.
Overall, it was a great place to stay. Its just too bad the United States side of the Niagara Falls isn't doing as well as the overcrowded Canadaian side.
