Everything was great and clean and close to a lot of walkable areas. Only issue is the room size but that’s not something they could control. Overall great if you only plan to sleep there.

We had two twin rooms which worked out well. Communication was a bit difficult but everyone very pleasant and courteous. The rooms were very clean - sort of on the small side but workable. Breakfast was interesting.

There are tons of great small restaurants that’s owner-lead in this hotel blocks. Many of them are award winning yet many of them have unassuming small store front. Thats why I continue to book this hotel. Also their service is refreshingly hospitable & human. These days many budget hotels are so uncaring & rule oriented thus many of your needs during travel in japan are met with “no” but not this place. Really appreciate that.
