Great location - close to station and shops and restaurants. Staff very courteous and professional. Room and facilities very clean. Really liked the washer/dryer facility - convenient and reasonably priced. Also, bar on the top floor was enjoyable.

This hotel just celebrated its 40th birthday so it's not the newest but is well kept and in a very convenient location, almost next to Ikebukuro station. It's on the opposite corer from one of the malls that are part of the station complex. Rooms are a good size and most would have decent views. The breakfast buffet was good and comprehensive. The hotel also sells gym day passes for guests that give access to a moderately comprehensive commercial gym and pool in the same building.

The hotel was conveniently located near JR and subway lines, with plenty of food options nearby. A nice touch was the two complimentary bottles of water provided each day. The Airport Limousine bus stop was right in front of the hotel, which was extremely convenient—we usually pay to have our luggage shipped to the airport, but this saved us both time and money. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The only downside was the shampoo and conditioner, which left our hair feeling dry, so we ended up purchasing our own.

My wife and I stayed in a newly renovated room at the hotel for 3 days in mid-August. The Room We chose a smaller room which was extremely well appointed despite being smaller than the average north American room. The room had been redesigned from the ground up and exceeded all of our expectations. The Queen size bed and bedding was very comfortable. There was a built-in desk with a mini bar as well as shelves that provided plenty of room to store items. The bathroom included a shower and tub as well as a bidet toilet. The bath amenities were also high quality and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were great. Location The hotel is located in a safe quiet neighborhood near a mall and the main train station. There were plenty of restaurants and a 7-11 and Family mart a block away. I would highly recommend the hotel due to its location, staff and room quality.

This was a lovely hotel but disappointed we were not told in advance some parts not open - rooftop restaurant and bar and pool - there was also no where to sit and say (read a book ) other than in restaurant or bar - foyer area not suitable busy snd noisy

Traditional style hotel with actual people working at the Front Desk (not computer), a lot of drawers in my room, Bell Captain desk taking care of my luggage and others, all rental clothing included (but not socks) Gym... I missed those good-old-days hotel. I will come back!!

Awesome

The room was comfortable and the workers, from mgmt to the bell hop, were all polite and nice. We were looking for a wagyu dinner and mgmt was calling several restaurants and they were all booked. Then we called one in-house and walked us down to the restaurant to make sure we were given a table. What service!
