The hotel is absolutely perfect. The rooms are small but excellent. The bathroom is awesome. The only downside is it is in the middle of the bars and strip clubs, so the streets are crowded in the evenings and weekends. This area is the only place in Japan where the roads have garbage bags puled on the side in the mornings. The hotel itself is quiet with not one sound penetrating through and flawlessly clean.

We liked this hotel. Definitely pay more for the larger rooms. We got the 23 square meter room, and it was just barely large enough for the two of us and our luggage. Overall, everything inside the hotel is really nice, the breakfast was delicious, and the on-site laundry was convenient. The neighborhood was a little sketchy (red light district), but still felt fairly safe. It's a short walk to Shinjuku Station and the 3-D LED cat.

The Godzilla lookout was closed indefinitely, not many food options in the hotel itself, convenient location and great food in surrounding areas. Very nice rooms, clean and overall nice hotel. Be prepared the outside of the hotel is dirty with people sleeping on the sidewalk after partying the night prior. It did make us feel uncomfortable at times otherwise it was okay. If you like the nightlife party scene this is for you and we discovered it was not for us.

Shinjuku is a place with a lot of nightlife, but the hotel is quiet in the rooms probably because of the high floors and quality windows. Staff was very helpful, room was large by Japanese standards.

I wish the hotel install the laundry coin machines with Suica or credit cards and the terrace area so that the customers can access to take a photo with Godzilla head and watching its show like before.
