The Annex tower rooms are old. The location is very convenient to the Yamanote line and for coming in from Haneda. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel that are good.

Air conditioning never really worked. Room was 78-80F the entire stay. It would cool down to 74-75 on some nights. Other than that, typical Japanese style rooms and amenities. Really close to transportation, ample taxi’s, and many things to do right next to the hotel. I recommend it for short stays, if you’re doing something specific near Shinagawa station, or just need a place to stay for a night while transiting to Tokyo or to Haneda.

This hotel was very nice! They offer a self check in option where you can skip the long lines (which I did) and it was seamless. I have to say that this hotel is especially nice! They have multiple restaurants, a bowling alley, and 2 huge gyms. They literally have taxis that come through the hotel almost every 5 minutes so that will never be an issue. They have a 7/11 attached to the hotel which is 24 hours. Literally have no bad things to say about this resort and would definitely stay again!

The location is good. The staffs were very nice and helpful. I did not like the self check-in system which was not reliable and required help from staffs; so, why it is existed. I 've needed two staffs and repeat the process multi times to check-in with the system.
