I had a mostly good experience staying at KOKO Hotel Ginza 1-Chome. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of Ginza and within walking distance of several train lines, making it easy to get around Tokyo.
The room was smaller than I expected, but from what I’ve heard, that’s pretty typical for hotels in Japan. Despite the compact size, it was clean and well-equipped with all the essentials, including free bottled water, coffee, shampoo, body wash, and even a toothbrush and toothpaste. Those little conveniences were definitely appreciated.
One minor downside was the TV, it would have been nice if it were a smart TV so I could stream from my apps instead of just watching local TV shows. But the biggest issue for me was the toilet seat warmer. It didn’t have a remote or any visible controls, so there was no way to turn it off, which meant that every time I had to use the toilet, it felt like my butt was getting roasted.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers who want a convenient and comfortable stay in Ginza.
