The room and hotel is more of a 3 star than 4. Bed was comfortable, room was clean but a bit tired. Shower was over the bath and was too low for me so I had to bend over to shower. Staff were mostly nice with one exception who appeared to be arguing with her manager at the front desk at the time. Breakfast was excellent and is the only reason that I may return. I am back in Manchester in a couple of weeks and the same room is over £100 more so I am staying elsewhere. There are lots of good hotels in Manchester, others have been better.

Room was clean and well presented however the main let down was the temperature. It was very cold upon arrival and it was difficult to warm the room up. There had been a mobile heater left available to use in the room which suggests the hotel clearly was aware of the issue. Bathroom was clean but dated, and shower leaked onto the floor. Staff upon check in very friendly and welcoming and took time to inform us of directions to places around the city and recommend local points of interest.

The hotel is in a great location in the city center. The staff were welcoming, especially those at restaurant. I was disapointed that the room and bathroom wasn't cleaned to a high standard. Some areas in the room and bathroom like the sink and around the bath were obvious. Lack of towels in the room as we were only given one. The windows were also dirty, blurring the view outside. Its a great hotel but improvements will make it a much better experience.
