Sadly, the parking is expensive. I was given the grace of 15 minutes to unload, I then moved it to free parking at Hounslow West. To the Skylark Hotel where we have stayed before, they look after us as good customers! As with the Hotel Holiday Inn Express, expensive at £160 but convenient for the job in hand. Still, a discount in the parking fee would have notched them up a star! The positive thing, the room was lovely, the shower facilities with the senior hand supports the best I have seen. Handy for the Fish & Chip shop across the road, our favourite. A good chat with Akmed, the owner and his wife, like old friends having a natter on old times. 😃

No aircon in the room hottest day of the year in London, had to open a window in a very noisy area of London to get some ventilation. Tv remote did not work at all

Room a little tired, leaking bathroom sink tap, floor tiles cracked. Just in general need of updating. As for the lifts, slow, noisy and the door opening/closing it really struggles.

London gem of a hotel.

5 minute walk from Hammersmith tube stns. Nice area, easy to find. Room nice and tidy, plenty of complimentary brews and top ups by reception. Breakfast lovely and plenty of it. Luggage storage too as we arrived early and had a train home in the afternoon.
