Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Room was dirty under the sofa bed - caked in dust and litter. The hotel offer a ‘gift’ if you opt out of maid service every day, but this meant no maid service at all, so our bins were overflowing, we ran out of toilet roll twice and towels too. No heated towel rail or lamps. Breakfast was basic and pancakes were packet ones and being heated in their plastic! Very basic food, no honey etc. They ran out of bowls every morning and staff weren’t refreshing the stock of milk or food very quickly. Pool was FREEZING and children were shivering, again no towels available as they couldn’t keep up. It was ok for the location but that was it. We had a glass smash by one of our children on the night time and housekeeping was asked to fully clean the room as there were shards everywhere. We wet back up and there was still glass in the beds and on the carpet etc. They came back and changed the bedding but we let finding glass on the floor as they hadn’t hoovered it swept it up. Very poor!
