Room was dirty under the sofa bed - caked in dust and litter. The hotel offer a ‘gift’ if you opt out of maid service every day, but this meant no maid service at all, so our bins were overflowing, we ran out of toilet roll twice and towels too. No heated towel rail or lamps. Breakfast was basic and pancakes were packet ones and being heated in their plastic! Very basic food, no honey etc. They ran out of bowls every morning and staff weren’t refreshing the stock of milk or food very quickly. Pool was FREEZING and children were shivering, again no towels available as they couldn’t keep up. It was ok for the location but that was it. We had a glass smash by one of our children on the night time and housekeeping was asked to fully clean the room as there were shards everywhere. We wet back up and there was still glass in the beds and on the carpet etc. They came back and changed the bedding but we let finding glass on the floor as they hadn’t hoovered it swept it up. Very poor!

Nice hotel and facilities. The only suggestion would be to relax in the checkin time. I travelled off peak (winter) and stayed for 3 nights but they made me wait until 3pm to check in. After an international flight, it would have been a nice customer service to allow me access to the room a little earlier.

Staff all brilliant, professional and helpful. Room immaculate, great sheets! Was a little disappointed that the pool was booked up for the next morning but it can’t be helped. Be aware if that possibility before you book!

Room was clean & well equipped, views incredible, the sun rise over the city was amazing. Check-in was awfully slow, long queues even an hour after check in time. Spa facilities and pool were limited & very busy, no bookings left via the app but we did ask & managed to squeeze in a quick swim with the boys. Breakfast the next morning also very busy….a queue for breakfast but once in, it was fine. Good selection of food; hot and cold. Ideally for a one night stop off in the city.

Booked a 2 night break to celebrate Valentines Day but not impressed. Nobody could check in before 3pm so queues were huge for check in - we waited 35 minutes & there were at least 6 groups behind us & there were 4 lines of people waiting so some must have waited over an hour, Total shambles! We booked a double room but we had 2 single beds (Happy Valentines!!!) & room was pretty scruffy. No door on toilet or bathroom despite clear evidence there was one & even found old clothes in the wardrobe from a fellow traveller!!! On the plus side, the location is ideal (right opposite a tube & a short walk to Westminster Bridge). I get it's a relatively budget city centre hotel but not impressed at all.

The room as in good condition and all staff were good natured. They put a cake in the room on the day of arrival as it was my birthday which I think was a lovely touch. We had booked the room for a family of four, but were only provided with two cups and when housekeeping replaced the tea bags, they didn’t replace the coffee pods or the milk sachets, so that meant we couldn’t have tea the following morning. Another minor frustration was that housekeeping accidentally picked up all our swimming stuff (which was wrapped in a towel), and they were not able to find it again. Communication wasn’t great following us raising it and we did follow up a few times. It took the shine off a little that we now need to replace swimming costumes and goggles. The executive rooms aren’t as big as the ones in the Victoria Park Plaza too, which meant things were a little more cramped than we were expecting. It’s a decent hotel overall, and everyone is friendly and I feel they do try their best to help out when asked.

House keeping didn’t check if all the body wash, shampoo or conditioner were top up. I got a room with no conditioner and later no shampoo because house keeping didn’t top up or check if they are empty. Stay there for 4 nights and only the last day they top up even on a daily basis I have ask to top up.
