The room as in good condition and all staff were good natured. They put a cake in the room on the day of arrival as it was my birthday which I think was a lovely touch.
We had booked the room for a family of four, but were only provided with two cups and when housekeeping replaced the tea bags, they didn’t replace the coffee pods or the milk sachets, so that meant we couldn’t have tea the following morning.
Another minor frustration was that housekeeping accidentally picked up all our swimming stuff (which was wrapped in a towel), and they were not able to find it again. Communication wasn’t great following us raising it and we did follow up a few times. It took the shine off a little that we now need to replace swimming costumes and goggles.
The executive rooms aren’t as big as the ones in the Victoria Park Plaza too, which meant things were a little more cramped than we were expecting.
It’s a decent hotel overall, and everyone is friendly and I feel they do try their best to help out when asked.
