Small very basic rooms that need maintenance.
Staff not helpful at all if you need anything other than a straight up regular self-check in.
Any slight variation at all eg check in date later than planned - be VERY careful.

The room was not as clean in the bathroom area, the imagine of the room looks completely different in real life, if selling the room please put the actual imagine of what it will look like instead of a different picture but the staff were very helpful
Room was clean as always. Lots of noise which sounded like building work on the floor above me. Staff friendly but there was a lot less of them on this trip. Stayed here a few times now but this one may have been my last. The amount of guests they are trying to accommodate with the capsules opening up seems to compromise the service given especially with the amount of people trying to use the facilities. Convenient again for central London and good if your not wanting anything fancy and just want somewhere to sleep and refresh yourself but I will now look at other hotels in the future just purely down to the lack of staff and the amount of younger guests now using it like a hostel
It was a really great surprise, as they advertise this hotel is an oasis in the city.

I will say that I felt safe during the stay being that it’s a very transitive area. Only thing I didn’t like is that they charge $40 USD to hold your bags and $80 USD to do an early check in. I was very tired and needed to lay down before exploring so I opted to pay the early check in fee which I felt like it was an unreasonable price.
Zedwell sold my room to someone else when I checked in late by a day despite written acknowledgement from them that I would be fine to check in a day later than the original booking. Then refused to give me a refund despite not allowing me to check in.
And now denying any of this.
Are you ok for same to happen to you and end up paying twice for the same dates and the hotel threatening to put your family of young kids on the street at 11p as a tourist?

No Hot water when London hits -2 degrees, the water would not get hot, the concept is good but getting to the unit is a maze with up and down stairs. Won't stay there again.

Zedwell gave away the family room I pre booked and paid 10mths in advance for. On attempted check in - manager blamed hotels.com for not paying them instead of owning the error and making it right. Hotels.com confirmed Zedwell had been paid
Family of 4 middle of winter 11p without a hotel for a week. Forced into re booking on the spot for a week at 150% the original cost!
Disgraceful dishonest behaviour from Zedwell.
Now they are delaying and avoiding refunding me the original prepaid booking cost - see how this goes. Could be fraud of 6000.
Be sure you’re prepared to lose your entire money and be on the street before booking your family stay here

Loved that it was such a central hotel, but when you closed the bedroom door all was quiet. It’s a great no fuss hotel.
I should’ve done more research, good hotel but very basic, rooms just beds and bathroom. No hairdryer etc
Also really disappointed to find room was available 2 hours early, but then had to pay £40 early check in fee. Also to leave bags there was £15 per bag. Check out is 10am so leaves you with little choice when flying out much later.
Given we paid a premium too for the room (given time of year), to then have to pay those additional fees too wasn’t great.
Wouldn’t return.
