Nice looking, modern hotel with a cool and friendly vibe but we were really disappointed by our room. We came home at 11pm to the room at 25 degrees. We were offered a small fan and suggested that we opened the window. A combination of the warmth, noise from outside (due to having the window open) and the mattress feeling like a bouncy castle we had a terrible nights sleep.

Great stay

It was a lovely stay, perfect location the station and shops, a little noisy at night. Staff very helpful. Would be helpful to have water in the room. Also a hook in the bathroom for towels etc would be useful. Was able to check in early and checkout was very simple.

The room was freezing cold and the temp would not go above 17 degrees. Not great when I was up at 4am the next morning for work. They had amended it after I raised the issue but hadn't put a heater in the room as promised. They did supply once once I raised this at the front desk.

What a joy

What a joy it was to discover this hotel. In addition to all the normal great things you'd look for in a hotel (great location, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, comfort) the hotel had lots of quirky things around that made us grin/laugh out loud/engage in conversations with other guests during our stay. And the breakfast!!! The breakfast!! So much variety. Thank you Moxy Hotel, Stratford. You made our weekend in London so much lovelier.

The staff were excellent, very welcoming, and friendly. The room was pleasant enough and had all the usual features, and the USB sockets by the bed were always helpful. The only downside was that it was not suitable for working in; maybe one of the bigger rooms would be more suitable.
