Helpful staff

The hotel staff were really friendly & helpful. I am disabled & walk with a stick. I was standing in a long queue waiting to be seated for breakfast. One of the restaurant staff quietly called me out of the queue & took me to a table, so I would not have to stand for a long time. This was most unexpected but really helpful, as I would not have asked & would probably have needed to leave the queue & give up on breakfast. The room was really comfortable & spacious with all amenities you expect from a quality hotel.

The bedroom wasn’t the most spacious room I have stayed in but it had everything that you needed. The bed was comfortable and had clean linen. Long queues to check in. The early morning knock on the door from the maintenance man wasn’t particularly welcome. No recycling section in the rubbish bin.

Overall everything was fine. Maybe I should give it 4.5 stars. Only drawback was breakfast... A long line to get in. Machine coffee only passable. No high quality granola muesli, no fresh berries.

I loved everything about the hotel EXCEPT for the restaurant. I ordered a pick up order and was VERY specific. The food arrived cold and wasn’t how I ordered it. I brought it back and they swapped out what wrong, instead of giving me fresh warm food. I was also surprised that there’s no fridge or microwave in the room. That could be because I took a small room, so I won’t hold that against them. It’s in a perfect location if you like to walk. Buckingham Palace is about 10 minutes away as is Trafalgar Square. It is also located in the heart of the theater district. It’s easy to reach from Heathrow. It takes about one hour on the train and then a six minute walk to the hotel. The surrounding pubs are awesome and have great food options. I’m planning on returning again in the Spring and staying at this hotel. 9/10!
