We had 2 reservations, first one checked in time took more than 40 minutes due to many people and not enough staffs, second one checked in time 15 minutes, because they got more staffs. Overall the property is good, close to everything shopping, train and bus stations, British museum. Definitely will stay again.

The hotel is very well placed for sightseeing and is very comfortable and clean. The downside is it can be very noisy due to the bar in the courtyard.

Positive experience

Good hotel at a great price. We spent a week there. Clean rooms, safe place, quiet, near public transportation. The room is on a small side though. The pillows were to soft to my liking and the blanket was too heavy. They did daily housekeeping which was nice. Lots of places around to eat, i did not do their breakfast. Basic soap, shampoo, electric kettle, tea bags, instant coffee. No fridge. And very little deskspace. I am not sure it might be normal for England but for us, US visitors, it felt very small. Overall, i read horrible stories about London hotels before our trip and was pleasantly suprised with clean and quiet room, so i am happy with my stay.

Basic hotel in great location- good experience

Basic hotel in a great location. We’ve got the triple single room for three people. Service was excellent as rooms and towels were changed every day upon request. Front desk was very accommodating. Would stay here again. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a generous selection of various items. Five minute or less walk from Russell Square station with direct access to the Piccadilly line from the airport.

Location is wonderful walking distance to Piccadilly Circus and into the theater district upgrading to the breakfast is worth it. The AC did not work very well and was quite noisy outside the hotel. A solid for for the price in the convenience of the location.
