I have stayed at many hotels in London for both business trips and pleasure. The Rembrandt is my favorite. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the lounge is cozy and relaxing and the staff are excellent.

We had an executive double room, which is a little tired but shower, mattress and bedding are very good. The hotel is in a good location; close to Victoria and Albert museum, Natural History Museum, Science museum, Royal Albert hall, Harrods and South Kensington Underground station which can be extremely busy at certain hours during school holidays. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe nearby, and buffet breakfast is sufficient. Overall it’s a pleasant hotel to stay. Will stay here again if visiting the area.

Location was ok, room a little dated, not well cleaned (dusty, marks under glass table covers) breakfast buffet had plenty but all of reasonably poor quality (I ate breakfast elsewhere on the second morning). Pool and other facilities chargeable which isn't obvious.

Staff at The Rembrandt are more than helpful. They are kind, polite, courteous and always willing to answer questions and help whenever they can. The hotel is very central and in an exquisite part of London. Can't speak more highly of this property! Well done to all the staff.

Staff training recommended.

an unpleasant check in, despite checking in online they needed an actual credit card in case of damages and as I use applepay normally, they made me dig into my luggage there in reception amongst other guests. Could have shown some trust for me to take it to reception once I had unpacked as I had already paid for 2 nights when booking. The cleaners knocked and immediately opened the door without me being even able to respond on both mornings really early. The hotel itself is nice, clean, comfortable, very quiet despite being on a main road, conveniently situated for the Royal Albert Hall and some museums and even the city. Breakfast is plentiful.

The hotel is clean and quiet, though the deco is out dated in the room. One thing I found that the Expedia website makes the saty seems you can use the gym and spa is included in the price, but in fact you need to pay £15 per day extra. The gym is run by other establishment. Even as VIP from Expedia do not have the free access. The room card keys is made from wood is a nice touch.

I deliberately booked this hotel for the pool. However, it was a further £15 charge a day, we would have paid this, however, could not use pool between 3pm and 6pm, just when we enjoy a dip at the end of our day and prior to dinner. No notification of this until we arrived, very disappointing as an important part of our break away.

Great location, walkable everywhere. Lovely staff. No room upgrade and VIP free drink was one drink when we were two people. Website shows health club as £15/day extra, this applies to the pool as well which is a bit misleading as the charge doesn’t show next to the pool on the Expedia listing.
