The staff were generally friendly and welcoming especially front of desk which was very much appreciated. The room was generally clean, however, I was absolutely horrified to find what happened the following day in terms of housekeeping. I used a face towel in the evening on the first night and it was clearly dirty as it had residue of makeup on it and I put it on the floor to indicate it needed changing as mentioned in the bathroom on the wall, hoping they would provide a new face towel to replace it. The next day in the evening when I went to wash my face, I picked up the folded face towel and once I opened it I found it was dirty with makeup residue, basically the one I used the night before and it had been picked up, folded and put back as new. I was fuming, that's absolutely disgusting especially for a hotel that is meant to be in high regards. The second thing was at breakfast, I mentioned I was coeliac and the waiter only repeated items that had gluten in it, which I was already aware of, however, they mentioned I can request for food to order such as poached eggs and that was it. There was no mention of what other items could be ordered or no menu with this information which again I was startled with as the next morning, I saw that pancakes could be ordered but I had already plated my son a cooked breakfast and he was unhappy. Not great service at all, very very disappointed. Lastly, room service was not great, food was cold and not cooked properly.
