Our 2 standard rooms were really dated and in desperate need of an update. Old, worn furniture. Rusted bathroom fixtures. Worn carpet. This is an average hotel for those out touring about and not spending time in the room.

Friendly and helpful staff upon check in and concierge. Room was a great size, comfortable bed, and great facilities - hairdryer, ironing board and toiletries. My only issues with this room was there where no plug sockets by the bed, and also no main big light in the room. It was all side lights and also warm light rather than bright white light which made it difficult to put make up on to get ready to go out. The other things was that they had a really strong fragranced steamer blowing in the corridor right by our room - not great for my migraine and also my partners asthma.

Room was nice. The view of the Tower Bridge and Tower of London was really nice. My husband liked the Nespresso machine. Wished it had a quest refrigerator. We ate at the restaurant it was nice had a great patio right next to the Thames.
