Convenient location and good restaurants adjacent to and across from hotel. Good size room and bed. Clean and neat, although walls could use a refresh (scuffed up, worn) and shower/bath handle not functioning well (should be replaced). Issue with door double lock not working properly,

Beware of weekend evening check in

Check in on Saturday, 7/26 at around 7pm and the person at the front desk was miserable and rude. Daytime women were wonderful and treated us very well.

Long weekend on Long Island

The hotel you can see they are in the middle of slowly renovating. Parts of our room had been completely redone - bathroom & some of the floor - and others were dated, awaiting replacement such as the headboards, furniture and decor. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel does not have a restaurant or breakfast but we found a diner about 10 minutes away and was well worth the drive to Thomas's Ham & Eggery. Overall it is a nice place to stay, convenient to everything, and clean.

Staff seemed like I was an imposition on their valuable time. Any questions were diverted to online, or generally rude answers. I asked to check out 1 day early, was told it would be ok, checked out early, then after, was told it was not allowed and I would be charged for the additional night.
