It was very convenient as we were attending an event at the Clarendon. Public car park was only 5 minutes away.

Visiting Blackheath

No air con so struggled in the hot weather. Couldn't open windows as no pigeon wires on window ledges meant birds could fly in. Signage to rooms needs to be better as on 3rd floor when lift only goes to 2nd. I know its an old hotel but some simple things should be looked at please to make the experience a bit better.

Top floor room with good view of the park. No lift to top but I did not need it and help was offered. Breakfast was fine. Coffee good.

The hotel is situated in a lovely area and with the new Superloop buses easy access as well as trains nearby. There are great walks and numerous restaurants and bars. The breakfast here is excellent and staff pay great attention to detail. I lived in London for 30 years nearby to here and dreamed of staying here. Now I have moved back to my home country I enjoy staying here

So comfortable and QUIET! I had no idea it was possible to be so close to London centre, and yet have no traffic noise! The Clarendon is very comfortable, with proper openable windows for fresh air at night; very friendly and welcoming staff; amazing breakfast included; and a fully-staffed restaurant for very reasonably-priced evening meals. I look forward to returning many times in the future!

Really nice hotel for a short break - mearby mainline rail station means it's only about 20 minutues to central London. Efficient check-in. Good well decorated public rooms. Bedroom was a bit dated but absolutely fine. Three quarters sized bath with shower over was great. Breakfast room was very pleasant with a good choice of food.
