Stay here and avoid boring hotels!

This is a gem of a hotel to stay near Canary Wharf or handy for Excel which is 10mins by car. Really nicely designed, interesting layout thats cosy and grand at the same time - loved the library and places to hide and work. Friendly staff!

Avoid unless you're an insomniac hoarder!

The hotel is totally overwhelmed with clutter, it is beyond boutique and the photos online do not show the full extent of the mess! It made is feel totally uncomfortable and stressed. The room was below average at best, a poorly themed room with a headboard that has pins sticking out of it so you cannot lean against it, i mean come on! The air conditioning doesnt work. The rooms back onto an extremely noisy residential area with noise until the early hours. We gave up at 4am and left. Didnt even want to attempt the breakfast we paid for.

Totally eclectic

A gem of a place! Situated right on the high street & just a few minutes walk from Limehouse DLR. The exterior is beautiful! But oh…when you walk through the door!! Wow! You’re met with a truly eclectic mix of bizarre ornaments & artwork all the way through the lobby & into to the bar / restaurant area. Each room has a different theme. We stayed in Leonardo da Vinci. Room itself was very well laid out with lots of quirky little touches. Super comfortable bed & a nice bathroom. Not too far from the hotel is Limehouse marina, which is worth a visit. Also close is the Thames path & Regents canal which will take you into town via a very quiet & scenic route away from the busy main roads.

Stayed here on a vacation with my small family of three. The hotel is unique and very clean, staff are friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is pretty close to Canary Wharf and the bus stop is right out front. Easy hope on to get anywhere. Strangely, London traffic makes everything a half hour away, no matter where you want to go.

We loved the aesthetic and vibe of the hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The Turkish hamam was wonderful and a fantastic experience and the terrace was a lovely space to escape to with a book. I would stay here again!

Amazing, quirky hotel. Staff were great. Each room is based on a different author and you can find out more about them in the room. Easy to get to by bus or DLR, great pub nearby (The Grapes). Would definitely stay again.

A gem of a hotel in a great location close to transport links. The staff and owner were exceptional throughout our 2 night stay. The hotel itself is totally unique filled with family memorabilia and surprises around every corner. I highly recommended a stay here.

Maximum points for effort but sadly too many elements don’t pass muster. King Size bed was a Queen at best. Their booking system is slow and creates chaos at check in. Expect check in to take 30 minutes unless they sort it. Staff are all very friendly though
