Very impressed with Aloft really excellent staff in every department. Breakfast was really good with lots of extras and felt really looked after. Room an impressive size and full of everything we needed. Would stay again

Overall, it wasn’t a bad hotel. The dining area and bar were clean and nicely presented, and the breakfast food was good. We didn’t try lunch or dinner at the hotel, as we were out and about exploring central London. The room was pleasant, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it was a decent stay. The only downside was that the steam room wasn’t in use when my dad and I went to use it in the morning. There was a sign outside saying we needed to ask reception to switch it on. Once we did, it took around 30 minutes for the steam room to heat up and start working. Unfortunately, the sauna was completely out of order. We had mainly booked the hotel to use these facilities, so this was a bit disappointing.

The hotel team are brilliant - super friendly and helpful. The hotel is brand new so everything is in great condition. The pool and gym are great - with a better than expected steam. The rooms work really well for their size and comfy beds. The snack bar is useful and teh on site parking is great, The location is perfect for any events in Excel or if you want to head over to the cable cars or access the DLR. The area is still being developed, so it's only going to get better - great stay. Thank you

Had a pool, which the kids enjoyed, located close to the rail line which was fantastic. Breakfast was standard nothing special, just usual, be good to have a variety of egg, only had scrambled eggs, no fried or boiled. But as I said adequate food

Lovely hotel

This hotel is always spotless and smells really good. The location is great for the Excel centre. I’d like to see a few more healthy options on the dinner menu. The staff are always very welcoming.

Overall nice stay! Would have been nice to know that the DLR stop on the train was closed during visit before we got there but overall great stay! Checked in early (fee) and ate at the restaurant for dinner on property which was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Would recommend if you are traveling to London on a budget.

Excellent location for the Excel with super convenient access to public transport. I didn't expect much from a convention centre hotel but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The hotel reception and breakfast staff were super friendly and attentive and the hotel made the effort to make visitors welcome, even decorating the hotel for the occasion. Only one very small minus is one staff member on arrival who was not so pleasant and quite dismissive of guests and really gave off the vibe he hated guests which is a shame because when returning later and throughout the stay the other staff members were so so nice. Definitely will stay here next time.

Lovely hotel right next to Excel and 2 minute walk onto the DLR platform. Great breakfast with a nice outside area for coffee. Room was spacious and very smart with a really good shower and bathroom area. Overall a great place to stay eitherfor Excel events or easily exploring central London.

Great base for the ExCel

Great location for the ExCel and getting to the city. Hotel staff are very excellent, really great service. Hotel comfortable, evening menu is good. Breakfast menu is reasonable. Gym is spacious, equipment is pretty good for a hotel. Pool and spa a bonus. A good stay and would definitely boom again.

The hotel was very clean. The gym and the pool facilities were nice too. Vishva was so lovely in assisting my wife and I with breakfast in the morning given our personal circumstances. She had shown true empathy which is key to great customer service and we really appreciate it!
