Direct Oceanview Quiet and Relaxing, new A/C, free WIFI

Our fully air conditioned condo unit 607 is beautifully appointed with island decor throughout. From the moment you step in the door you will be greeted by a breathtaking view of the ocean and gardens and Molokai Island to the right. As you proceed to our lanai with seating for four, you may be greeted by sail boats passing by and surfers just off shore. A short walk to the shoreline at the edge of the property and you can often see green sea turtles as they feed on coral in the surf. You'll enjoy free wifi throughout the condo and flat screen cable tv in the bedroom and the living room. Our full kitchen is well stocked with service for 4 and a washer/dryer is provided in the unit. The dining table seats 4. The master suite is large with a comfortable king bed w/luxury linens and a flat panel TV/DVD player. Free wireless internet (WIFI) is available within the unit. The bathroom includes a tiles walk-in shower with luxury linens. The couch in the living room folds out to a queen bed, so the condo sleeps four comfortably and a flat screen TV with DVD player and wireless connection to Netflix and other online services. A slider gives you access to the lanai from the living area, and master bedroom. This provides breathtaking and seemingly private garden, ocean and mountain views. The Royal Kahana property boasts a spacious pool area with a large heated pool; an impeccably maintained lawn area with lounge furniture for sunbathing; a large indoor cabana for dining and entertainment; several gas barbecues, ping pong tables, and shuffleboard. There is an exercise room with treadmills, weight machines, and stair-stepper. Parking is available outside or in the underground garage. The Royal Kahana resort charges $18 per day for parking.

The views were spectacularly breathtaking. The size and layout of the place is nice and having a washer and dryer right there was a bonus. If you wanted this to be a 5 Star rental, it does need some updating. If it were mine, I would start with a fresh coat of paint, re-caulk the bedroom window, fix the broken supports on the drapes in the living room, and I would have someone come in and take everything out of the cupboards and give them a good wash. I went to use the blender and the base was disgusting. I cleaned it the best I could with what was available for cleaning. I would also remove the indoor/outdoor carpeting and replace with vinyl wood-look linoleum, an upgraded look and much easier to keep clean. The night we arrived, I had to strip the bed and dry the sheets, pillows, pillowcases, blankets and bedspread as they were all still damp and I can't sleep on damp sheets. i honestly believe that if those things were done, this would be a 5-Star rental and you could charge even more for this property. All in all it was a good stay. We try and leave the properties rent exactly as we found them, or better. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your unit. It was close to most of the places we wanted to go to, so the location was Perfect and as I said the view off of the balcony was breathtaking..... If you would like to see pictures of the blender bottom, let us know. My husband took pictures of it.

The condo was great for all our needs.The a/c was out in the whole building for much of the two weeks we were there. We were there for torrential rains and flooding, but stayed safe and comfortable. I would suggest having flashlights or candles on hand for power outages. I would rent this condo again. We got a quick response when we contacted on island host about WiFi and a/c issues.The washer and dryer came in very handy for this trip.

The apartment has everything you need to get started other than the Costco food we picked up. The view is gorgeous! We spent hours watching whales from the balcony with binoculars. Great host communication! We will be back! There are chairs, towels whatever you need for a beach trip. We did not want to leave!!! Thank you!!!

The Lanai view is amazing, we ate breakfast out there every morning and got to watch the sea turtles in the ocean/ Utterly amazing. Beautiful quiet location. Amazing views. Exactly as advertised! Great northwest Maui location and all the amenities (beach chairs, snorkels, washer dryer, well stocked kitchen) you need for family vacay! No beach when we were there but that was clearly explained in VRBO listing so we just beach hopped around the island and it worked out perfectly!! We did see turtles swimming everyday from the balcony!

Great location with great ocean views. Unit was clean except for garbage left under the sink. The unit showed it’s wear and tear with dated carpet, furniture and appliances but it worked and was functional. The bulbs in table lamps were different colors and we weren’t able to turn on the bedroom lights even with instructions from manager. Air conditioning was great. Beach toys and towels were in the closet and we appreciated having them. .

Great view; adequate unit; could be improved

This unit has a great view from the deck. The view was the top item of the unit and the selling point on why we chose this place for our first visit to Hawaii. We wanted a great view and were not disappointed. The a/c struggles to keep it cool inside, but with the help of 2 floor fans it was adequate for us given that we stayed in February. The layout of the unit with its rooms provided vey sufficient space. The unit was adequate, but we will likely not return. Other than the bedroom, the furniture, decor, furnishings and painting could be updated. There was rust on the coffee maker plate, the table on the deck, inside the freezer and on the stove. The light in the dining area had multiple layers of dust on it. It was great to have the beach chairs and umbrella, but we were surprised to find sand and water in the pockets of a couple of the chairs. We were unable connect to the wi-fi with our iPhones and our Mac air connection to the wi-fi was insufficient at best. The caretaker was very kind and courteous. She attempted to guide us through the wi-fi troubles, but it didn’t work. She was very responsive to needs for supply of bathroom paper products. The major disappointment was lack of a beach; there is certainly a shoreline but it is lined with multiple layers of sand bags to stop erosion of the shoreline. It seems to be in a good central location on West Maui.

The unit was very clean and plenty of cooking utensils, the view of the whales right from the balcony amazing. The only downside was the air would not go below 75 and when we inquired about that they said thats the lowest, which was really weird.

We enjoyed the lanai and the view. However, the unit needs a thorough cleaning. Just a few examples, there was heavy dust in several areas (the wall space above the kitchen cabinets, corner in bathroom, outlet/switch plates and so on), food splatters on kitchen wall by stove.

Perfect view for whale watching!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The view of the ocean and balcony was perfect for setting up our spotting scope to watch the whales in the Au'au channel. We were walking distance to Maui brewing company and a short drive from Whaler's village and Kaanapali Beach. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the sounds of the ocean through our windows. Everything we needed in our kitchen for our short stay and free coffee in the lobby in the mornings just in case.

Overall a good experience! The view was gorgeous. The condo was spacious, with plenty of room to move around. The bed was comfy, the furniture was a bit worn but didn't effect anything. We would certainly go back to this unit!

Nice Escape to Paradise

Booked 3 nights, very clean and with all the facilities you need! from beach chairs to snorkeling tools. In the kitchen not only has silverware but every kinds of seasoning. Location is perfect too, close to major beaches.
