The beach is literally right across the street from the hotel. The zoo and aquarium are just a 5-minute walk away. It’s a perfect place to stay for families with young children.

The hotel was old and dated. It was not nice at all. Not clean either. They claim on the internet that they have 'ocean front' rooms. I paid the extra for an ocean front room and the hotel is not even on the ocean. You have to cross the street to get to the beach. The upgrade to 'ocean front' is substantial and there is no ocean front, just a partial ocean view. Also, they charge you over $100 per night, per room for security deposit. So I had to pay over $1400 more over the resort fees and taxes. And the hotel is not clean at all. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel charged an unexpected total of $454 in resort fees for a week stay AND put a total of $700 in "hold" charges on my card. So, you're down more than $1,1154 in spending power, before your vacation even begins. This is on top of the money you actually paid to stay there. The area around the hotel has junkies passed out on the sidewalks and aggressive panhandlers. Waikiki Beach is a classic example of an area with huge potential that is over run by "quality of life" crime. It's even worse in Honolulu proper.

After paying for the room when checking in we were told that on top of the room payment I had to pay an additional 850.00 for each room , both rooms were king but had to microwave just a mini fridge

Very professional staff, clean property. Cleaning staff very helpful in wanting to make sure if you need your hotel room clean and fresh towels daily even without asking. Front desk helpful in setting up Island tours. And since I had a later flight ✈️, and checked out at 11am, I was granted a hospitality card to relax and showers 🚿 around the corner as well.as laundry if needed while I wait near time for.my flight.

First time In Hawaii and we normally stay at Marriott properties in the states . This Resort was popular and crowded once we arrived but the hotel clerk was helpful and informative. It was my Daughters Birthday and the hotel clerk gifted my daughter a necklace. Housekeeping was prompted when it was time to clean our rooms. She asked if we needed anything else and had a smile while asking . The rooms were very clean. We had an amazing view of the ocean and mountain side of the hotel. Can’t wait to visit the Marriott property in Maui .
