The lobby is remodeled and was welcoming. The staff was super friendly. We got to our floor and couldn't find our room. Then we realized it was right next to the service elevator tucked in a corner (Room 830). As we entered the bedroom looked nice, clean and remodeled. The bathroom aka a glorified broom closet. Tiny sink and you could hardly shut the door the quarters were so tight. The shower was at least a good size. The room felt like an after thought as far as location and functionality. I noted this in my Orbitz review. The next day I got a call from the Operations Manager. She was very kind and offered a room upgrade for a discounted price. As my husband and I don’t stay at the hotel all day when we travel and we didn’t want to repack and unpack we politely declined and thanked her for the offer.She called back a few hours later and offered to upgrade our room free of charge. We accepted. We didn’t get back to the hotel until later that night. We got the new room key and packed up. We couldn’t find our room and then we realized it was behind a random door in the corner of the hall with another room right next door. See attached As we entered room 824 the only upgrade was a wet bar (sink and a microwave).The bedroom didn’t have night stands like room 830.Bathroom shower was so small. A/C wasn't working well, one set of bedroom shutters were broken. We had to prop it closed. Hot water went out 2 days later. Not resolved as requested Total Bait & Switch.

Hotel just got remodeled thus property looks new. Staff is friendly. Room is good size & the beds are very comfortable. Location is very centralized . International Market Place, grocery market are mins away & the ABC stores are everywhere. As the VIP hotel, pleasant surprise to get upgrade to a higher floor with Waikiki view. Free daily breakfast during the stay & the $50 food & drink coupon sure helps my pocket book. One BIG disappointment was the swimming closed due to emergency repair when I was so looking forward to swim !!!!

I had an amazing stay at Waikīkī Outrigger Paradise. The location couldn’t be better—right across from the beach and in the heart of Waikīkī, so I could easily walk to everything. Both on-site restaurants were delicious, and the staff were incredible. They were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. This hotel truly made my trip memorable, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very close to the beach and to many shopping options as well. They do have a parking garage for hotel guests, but sadly throughout our entire stay, the key to exit did not work. We received a replacement but it still did not work. Everything else was amazing!

Was a nice hotel. Spaceous, clean and close to the beach. I did not like the resort fee, not sure what I got resort wise. I did not like the parking fee but understand it was the going ratw for the area.I did not like the elevator key situation. I was early for check in and they were able to store my luggage. They also gave us a room for 45 min to be able to get dressed and ready.

It's clear that the hotel is still being refreshed but workers were discreet. Internet was good, staff were really good, my room was tiny but adequate. I had to just crack the balcony window open at night a few millimeters to stop the wind noise from the door seals - open too much and the AC will shut off. Great beach about a 5 minute walk away. Very good and affordable location.
