Beautiful property! Great for families. Clean rooms, great views! Had both beach view and mountain/city view! (Aloha tower). Walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Waikiki Beach shopping center right up the street. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around each corner. Free breakfast buffet every morning included, 7-930am. Great pool. Open til 9pm. Have pool towels can use for beach, too. Big enough size for adults and soft, not those tiny pool towels some hotels use! (Have free drinks/snacks for guests at pool 530-730pm *2 free alcoholic drinks per drink ticket and kids can get fountain drinks, and there's snack foods for guests). Great staff. Only valet, no self parking. But all valet staff is quick, friendly and courteous. Front check in, housekeeping, all great and friendly. Superb aloha spirit! Has laundry facilities (like $6 per load for washer and $6 per load for dryer, have single use tide and single use bounce dryer sheets ($2 each one).

Parking is super expensive (only valet), the hourly rate for public multiplied by 24hrs is less than the daily rate for hotel guests! It was only 40$ a few years back! Resort fee is also quite high. Rooms are a bit dated but we like the suite setup. No daily housekeeping though only alternate. They make you wear a wristband to breakfast and carry a card to validate pool towels are returned or pay a fee for the lost towel card. Ridiculous!

Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. I slipped and fell by the pool the first day and banged up my knee. Breakfast was ok but not spectacular. Pancakes were probably the best part of breakfast. Evening drinks were good but snacks provided were lacking.

Definitely the customer service needs a real improvement. They should plan the staff accordingly for all the time knowing when it is high traffic and when it is low.
