Great Staff. This is an older property, but the staff makes up for it, particularly the buffet staff. They are friendly, diligent and welcoming. Waikiki has limited public parking.Hotel parking fees range from $45 -$80/day. There is a car rental at the hotel lobby. You can walk to the beach (a block away), the mall, surf, surfboard rental near $10 star boy, food trucks, great poke @ Maguro Spot, restaurants & coffee shops within a couple of blocks. Lyft was cheaper than uber in the area (35 min. to the airport & approx. 1 hr with traffic). The beaches are nice and good for familes/small children. Hawaiians are very nice, kind, and welcoming. Mahalo 🙏

Good stay with nice view and great location

It was a good hotel with a nice partial view of the beach as prescribed. It is located in a prime area with walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants and many other attractions. The break was very good as well. However, it’s an older hotel so needs a lot of renovations.

One block away from the beach. There was a restaurant around the corner several ABC stores. Food trucks around the corner as well. The hotel itself is basic nothing too fancy but we were hardly there. We spent a lot of time at the beach and going out so it was an average room. I would say very convenient to the beach. Breakfast didn’t have many options, but it was filling. The staff overall was very friendly and our rooms were clean every day they provide you with beach towels. I think they have free rentals as well. We didn’t have time to check that out but they do give you a voucher. They have an ice machine, a convenience store located in the lobby and even a water station so bring flask. Would recommend. There is also a McDonald’s across the street. first time in Hawaii this hotel was good. Also on sundays there is fireworks at the beach. I almost forgot the free activities. They have every day like yoga or lei making.

The staff and service were excellent. Good breakfast. The rental car office was inside the building. Easy to pick up and drop off the car. Free parking was included, and we rented a car from their location. The hotel was updated and a bit noisy. No hot tub. But overall experience was good.
