Hotel is in a great location and can walk to beach and great restaurants. Staff is really nice and friendly. Rooms need a good deep clean as most hotels do. We were a big party and had 5 rooms. Only thing that was a little frustrating was that we requested that the rooms be close together. We had pairs on the same floor- but the room with our kids was in a completely different tower. I had called weeks in advance to explain that they needed to be next to us.; assuming at the very least they would be on our floor. That was tough. They wouldn’t move rooms around due to capacity. So we had to deal with it. Breakfast is pretty good- and they vary it. It is a madhouse though. But something for everyone!! Valet is very tight and we had an issue with the crew pulling our rental on the curb. We ended up with a flat as a result. It was pretty frustrating. Overall a good place and great staff!!

It is "OK" hotel, but no more than that. Windows are not sound proof, so you hear street noise all the time. AC is also not quiet. Only 2 elevators - sometimes you have to wait for a few minutes. Breakfast is really mediocre, we regret we paid for it, should have gone to local cafeterias instead. And all that for 500+ per night! "Hyatt" predisposed me to something way better.

Rooms were nice, clean, but room cleaning is not everyday. It’s random days, and we have to call down to request for Towels somedays. They asked if we had the do not disturb sign up each time we called, and we didn’t. The days they did our rooms they only left 4 sets of towels when we booked for 5 people in our room. So we had to call down to request for towels regardless. Other than that, everything was great!!! Love their breakfast, except for the windy rooftop with lots of birds.

This place is a CATFISH. Do not waste your money. The "beach view" was absolutely not a beach view. I had to go outside on the balcony and peer around the corner to see the beach. I confirmed with the staff after my check in, and yes that is considered a beach view. This hotel is not on the beach, and in my opinion they should NOT be allowed to sell a "beach view' room. Their marketing team really pushed the envelope and crossed moral lines, just to sell rooms. I visit Waikiki often for work. It would be heartbreaking to see a couple on a honey moon book this place... its a huge a dissapointment. I talked to other families during my stay, I was not the only one who felt duped. The rooms in the online pictures DO NOT exist at this place.

The breakfast was very good but was very limited menu. Eggs, a meat option and waffle (were different each day but the rest was the same just vanilla yogurt and pineapple. The food was really good just limited variety.

Our room got the Mountain View. It was ok, but great privacy. The room was very clean. The bathroom was small, not enough space for hanging clothes and towels. The location was very close to the beach, shoppings, and restaurants. It was a bit noisy at some points in the early mornings for cars and people talking in the hallway. However, I loved the part being able to hear the rooster in the early morning. It wasn’t loud enough to wake you up, but you can hear it starting around 5am if you happen to be awake at that time. It brought me back to my childhood time, when I was still living on a farm. The breakfast was ok. It did its job & it was included. It saved me lots of time and headache from going hunting for breakfast for 5 every morning. I will definitely book again with Hyatt Place for our next vacation.
