Three issues :
1. Poor service in breakfast in which a waitress keeps saying you can't do this and that (can't take an extra bread, no can't swap this sausage). And then says time of breakfast is up - leave.
2. In the room, the carpet is very dirty. Can't walk barefoot.
3. No shower curtains.
In short, no value of money.
Room & bathroom clean .Restaurant on site excellent food and decent prices. Breakfasts also great and staff were friendly and very helpful.

Staff were very good, helpful and friendly and meals were great. The lady serving breakfast was excellent.
But Curtains in the bedroom were very hard to open and shut without pulling them down as couldn’t reach the top to close them. There were no safety handles on the bath to help you in and out of the shower. Room was cold in the evening with no heating on but then in the middle of the night when we were in bed the heating was on when it wasn’t needed.

We could not figure out shower curtain, climbing stairs with heavy luggage was tough for seniors- we asked for help (per sign) and was told there was none. The place has a restaurant and bar and I asked if I could buy a bottle of water and was told I could cross the street and go for a walk to a place for water. It should be pointed out that there are steep stairs and no lift. Person at reception had no compassion whatsoever. Would not return. The servers at breakfast were nice and the breakfast was very good.
The staff were very hospitable especially the young lady who was serving breakfast, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was perfect.

When one checks into a hotel, one expects to find a room with a shower in the bathroom. When I asked the manager about it, she responded: you never asked for a shower!
We could have stayed elsewhere but the town was sold out.
For what we paid we should have expected something more. One should not have to put up with these accommodations.
You guys are in the business of satisfying customers. Please satisfy us.
The location was challenging. We were located in a separate building but one of the workers helped us with our heavy luggage.
Dinner last night was top notch.
The staff were accommodating.
Just the lack of the shower and her response.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We have a campervan and able to park in their associated car park in adjacent building and plenty of room.
We had one of the rooms in the extension which was lovely and clean and warm.
Easy 20 min walk to Guildhall for our gig and plenty of pubs and eateries en route and a huge variety.
Breakfast was really good.
A great stay and would definitely come back when visiting Southampton without a doubt!!
A small quaint local Inn and a very enjoyable 1 night stay. Clean and comfortable. Twin room was quite spacious.
Helpful and friendly staff. Also offered and arranged a cab to the cruise port for us.

The room was very clean and has everything you need, offered hair dryers. Staff was very helpful and patient with a lot of cruise passengers and luggage arrangements, which they have an area to hold for you. Staff arranged taxi service. Dinner options were great and resonable.
This property is nice, the staff was excellent and the breakfast yummy. The reason for my low rating was the room we had was terrible. Do not accept room number 25. It’s a double twin. It is the size of a dorm room with an accessible bathroom- we did not request an accessible room. It needs to painted, it needs new carpet and the carpet isn’t properly placed. The beds are a bit lumpy and the pillows are flat. We were only staying one night so we didn’t request a change in room but I would not stay in that room again.
