Disappointed

A lovely warm welcome, but soon disappointed as the key for the (desperately needed) disabled toilet couldnt be found. The next available toilets were up steep winding stairs, fortunately I am not in a wheelchair, but did struggle and needless to say..... didnt make it in time, which was VERY uncomfortable and embarrassing. The room was 'tired' as per the rest of the hotel, and (again) unfortunately we had a room were there was an intimitant grinding noise.... we pressumed from the lift??? Apart from the friendly staff (who couldnt help with the toilet situation) an all round disappointing stay 😑

No way to use the shower

Bed (2 singles pushed together was uncomfable), lift carpet extremely dirty, strong smell in corridor and no way to swap the water from taps to shower so left without having a shower. Location and reception staff excellent though

Great Stay

Lovely hotel, rooms are very spacious and you definitely get your monies worth. Check-in was easy and were very helpful with the parking situation, which is right next door. Bar was open late so we could have a quick drink before going back up to the room. Would definitely stay again when in Nottingham. Close to the centre and right next to the castle.

Great boutique hotel, highly recommend

Wonderful stay. Friendly staff, comfy room and clean. Great location. The room was small but it was just for myself, and it was nice and warm, plus there was a bath. Shower pressure was fantastic! I could just about see the castle, and my room was private and not overlooked. Also nice and quiet. Thank you :)

Convenient and comfortable hotel

Lovely bar, attentive service and comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner were also both good. The only issue I had was the noise - there was very little soundproofing which meant I didn’t sleep particularly well.

Been here a few times and the staff are always friendly. Breakfast are lovely. Went between Christmas and the new year and is a short walk to the Winter Wonderland which was still in full swing.
