Filthy marks on side over bed, can’t believe maid did not see it when making the bed. Maintenance guy knocked & tried to walk into the room on the morning & woke us up! Furious as he kept insisting to come in & we refused as we were still in bed. Informed reception. Went for drink in bar & no ibe around, had to go looking for staff at reception to get us & others served. On checking in, it took awhile to get room allocated. Hotel is deteriorating over the years, likely will not be back

Update would be nice.

Always book this hotel when I can. However it's dated and needs improvement. Visitors don't always carry usb plugs for there phones and just have the cable. Hotel don't have usb sockets and only option is using back of TV to trickle charge your phone provided TV is on and don't go into standby, reception don't have plugs available or can rent you one even if paid deposit. Older hotels have updated one socket at least to have usb as part of there socket. Another year gone and still no improvement.
