Suprise Package

Wonderful experience made even more special by the amazing Staff who were available helpful and informative, particularly in the Bar downstairs. The location, facilities and ambience is simply exceptional.

The location, aesthetic, price, amenities for this hotel were fabulous!!! I would have given 5 stars except their check in computers were not working. We arrived 30 minutes after check in was allowed and we had a good wait to check in. That being said, there were plenty of areas to sit. We got a drink at the bar, which is discounted for hotel stayers, and enjoyed a drink till it was our turn to check in

The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive which contributes massively to having a great experience. Loved that there was a bar/restaurant inside the hotel! Very convenient! It saved me a lot of time and I didn't have to go and source food outside of the hotel. Also, the coffee and tea available outside the lifts on every level is incredibly forward thinking.

From Comfy Beds to Dissapointing Coffee..

Our stay was generally pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, and the room itself was clean and quirky, which we really liked. Reception staff were friendly and accommodating — especially when we arrived to find one of the beds unmade; this was quickly resolved, and we appreciated their prompt response. However, breakfast was a letdown. The food itself was okay (the eggs were a highlight), but the overall experience was poor. Cutlery, plates, glasses, and cups were dirty, which was disappointing. Hotel staff during breakfast service appeared disengaged and at times rude, with very little interaction or acknowledgement of guests. It was particularly frustrating to see staff enjoying freshly prepared coffee from the hotel bar while guests were left with instant coffee from a self-service machine - the coffee was horrible. Transport access was convenient, and the hotel offered a good base to explore the city.

Really positive stay. I liked the self check in which made life very easy on arrival. My room was clean and had everything i expected. Very compact room but it did the job. Not a fan of the many light switches dotted in not the most convenient places for a single traveller like me. Shower was good but the bathroom was prone to standing water but the most frustrating thing by far was that you could hear at least the floors above plumbing, every flush would both disturb my sleep at night and is frankly just quite disturbing that you can hear such a thing.

Everything was excellent, from cleanliness to service to location. I had only 2 minor issues: I didn't have cellphone reception in my room (could be because of my service provider), and the sound of neighboring rooms flushing their toilet was a bit loud. Not ideal for light sleepers.

Check in was from 3 but the room wasn’t ready until 4:30, but the staff were lovely and gave us a £15 voucher for the bar to say sorry. The bar staff were friendly, the cocktail we had was excellent. The lobby is really quirky and trendy. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was really powerful. Would stay again.

Once I took off my shoes to take a shower, I felt a sharp pain and realised a tiny piece of glass had lodged in the bottom of my foot. I looked around the room and was shocked to find many tiny shards of glass scattered across the floor. It was a very scary and unsettling experience. I reported the issue to reception and they changed my room promptly. However, this incident left a strong negative impression and I will never return to Yotel in Manchester.
