Great family stay

Stayed in a family room, 2 very comfortable double beds. Great quality pillows and duvets. Shower was amazing. Breakfast was great but could do with an extra coffee machine.

This is not a 4+ Star hotel anymore.Maybe a 3 Star

Unfortunately, very disappointed. Expected more of a landmark that is no longer a 4+ star hotel. Not even close. Cons: Old and tired everything, needs refurbishing Soundproofing is poor, could hear people talk and baby cry all night through wall Very poor electrical socket number Dirty room, dry gum in sheets and many bad stains on sofas Curtains hanging down broken No bell service on weekends Poor choice of food for room service Poor choice of restaurant Very dark rooms, poor lighting and small windows Pros: Friendly staff Central location Relative price ok-ish, but expect a 3 star hotel Fast wifi Some onsite parking

Lovely property but staff unhelpful - when we wanted to have a breakfast in the morning which was to cost £5 extra on top of the original £15 quoted since we forgot to book it the night before…staff just didn’t want to know about helping guests. Our Room had adjoining locked door to another room and guests in there were shouting and swearing for over 1/2 an hour which was very disappointing and frustrating.

Brrrrr….12 degree room left us cold.

Arriving on a cold January afternoon, you might expect the heating to be working. Unfortunately, it was not. There was an oil filled convector heater in place of the malfunctioning air con, but it wasn’t left on. The room measured a chilling 12 degrees on arrival and after an hour, I had to contact reception to have them organise another 2 convector heaters to bring the temperature up to a reasonable level. Reception did offer to look at options for switching rooms but my wife was warming up in the bath by then. Disappointing for a £183 room, no other compensation offered. Otherwise a pleasant stay, staff very helpful but somewhat tarnished by the chilling experience on arrival.

Exceeded all expectations- beautiful property, cosy room, excellent amenities and a very nice breakfast. Bed was comfy and blackout curtains ensured we had a very pleasant sleep. Staff were super helpful, very friendly and we breezed through our check-in in about 5 mins. It took us about 10/15 mins to walk into the city centre, so location is also great. I want to make a note of saying I stayed here with a friend, and as 2 young, female travellers, we never once felt unsafe/scared/threatened during our time here. The hotel was quiet and our room felt very secure. Thank you for such a pleasant stay :)

Trip To Old Trafford to See Cherries 0-3

Really lovely hotel, and loved the combination of old building and new. Marsida at check in was delightful and gave great info. Room was lovely and comfortable. Great shower and comfy bed. Cooked breakfast was exceptional with very good coffee. All staff were lovely. Defo stay again.
